What do you like best about the product?
We set up our lead flow to sync automatically with Salesforce from G2 and were able to easily start collecting highly-qualified leads. The team at G2 is also very helpful and provides timely responses whenever we reach out and they have helped us through several team transitions and strategy changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do want to promote some of our performance but with new results coming out all the time and the landscape always changing, it is difficult for us to commit to the additional spend for a content subscription so we haven't done it so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps us understand our market position - both by helping us promote our strengths, but also providing performance data back to our product teams to understand where we can improve.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of their backend system to enhance your profile and get more reviews. It makes it easy to view stats, and grab any marketing badges you'll need. It also like the social templates it gives you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The market presence and G2 scoring for reporting needs to be fixed. I also think the intent audience should not be an add on but included with your esential subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 gives us a place to collect feedback from our users what they like about our platform and how to improve it going forward. We also get great reviews to use on our marketing campaigns and collateral.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 has a strong brand reputation in the software reviews space with both consumers and software providers. By leveraging them as a third-party source for quality customer feedback, we've been able to build and strengthen our own company's brand reputation.

In addition, the G2 CSMs we have had for the last few years have all been committed to partnering with us to grow and strengthen our profile and position in category. I know they're available to support us whenever we have a need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to our organizational structure and priorities we aren't able to make full use of all the G2 tools, content, and integrations available. For what we are paying in subscription fees, this can sometimes be challeging to justify as an expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are responsible for monitoring and managing our brand reputation online. G2 Marketing Solutions makes it easy for us to to track and respond to customer reviews on their platform.

What do you like best about the product?
The G2 platform has be instrumental securing reviews from our global customers. The platform is intututive in terms of company profile set up, reports are detailed, and the account management support that my team and I have received has been exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind as we have had a very positive experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows us to solicit feedback from our global customer base in terms of our technology platform. The feedback received allows us to make enchancements, identify areas for future developed, while also allowing us to highlight user experiences with prospects.

A must-have for tool in the marketing tech stack

What do you like best about the product?
1. Intent data from G2 is an essential part of our outbound strategy. Also the rich context (product and place visited, history, buying stage, etc.) and additional information provided (relevant people to reach out, Bombora intent topics, etc.) help us finetune our outbound strategy and make it more actionable

2. Real-time Slack alerts are helpful (profile and pricing page visits)—helps us quickly action on them

3. Excellent customer experience right from onboarding to customer success. The CSM is always quick to respond even during this holiday season. He truly tries to solve problems and meet requirements—be it soliciting more reviews from our customers or maximizing our use of the platform. Also, his emails with new feature releases are very helpful and actionable
What do you dislike about the product?
It's been a very good experience so far. One call out is that some feature asks (e.g, more granularity in what Slack notifications are sent) took a very long time to be implemented (>9 months). This was an essential for the Slack notifications be useful for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is absolutely essential for our outbound strategy and a key part of marketing tech stack. The data they provide has many many uses - from demand gen to churn prevention

Good early traction, then fall-off

What do you like best about the product?
Great personal account support. Our rep meets with us regularly and tries to do all she can to help us get the most out of the G2 system.
What do you dislike about the product?
G2 itself is extremely janky. We had to write up & justify the category that we belong in because G2 didn't understand our industry. We needed to explain why we should or shouldn't be tucked up underneath other categories. We needed to explain, in long-form, why certain companies they identified as our competitors should not even *be* in the category they threw them into.

Talking with Monty, he literally could not even recognize our product category and instead provided to me pages of unrelated market segments. When I gave him the exact page in G2 that I was referring to it said "I don't have access to live G2 database but I rely on set of structured database information which I currently lack for [my company's category]."

While we had initial traction in getting reviews once we signed the contract, that dried up quickly (after 1-2 months) and then we haven't gotten *any* reviews in the past half-year.

I wish I got sentiment analytics on the page even if someone *didn't* leave a review. I wish there was a way to know how many users were "watching us" or whether they had a positive brand sentiment. I can see pageviews, but I wish I could tell if folks were "subscribed" to our brand. So we could push updated information to those who had more than passing interest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want a public "score" for our product and have that appear in a place where our competitors also appear. We want to at least be given our fair share of voice. So far G2 has allowed us to be findable in a head-to-head comparison site.
