EASY to understand and documents and implement
What do you like best about the product?
The documents provided are very much effective and helpful in understanding the object and processes.
the templates provide the best way to create your bot with best practices so that every new person can understand the code of the bot easily.
I used it for Chrome, Internet Explorer, Excel, Java and SAP automation which actually decreased the manual intervention and man power. Bot scheduling need no intervention of human to start or end the bot.
The documents and guides provided explain the VBOs very precisely and give us the exact information or solution we would want for our bot which in turn makes the bot robust and adaptable for every environment.
The code stage provided lets us build our own custom code for some special cases using VB.net code or C#.
Automating different applications and integrating is very much easier in the process studio which can interact with more than one applications time and with proper exception handling makes the bot useful and save enough effort and time of the human.

What do you dislike about the product?
Using the application modeler and different modes, which can be improved. Nothing much more, chrome automation is the new trending for which the accessibility modes can be improved as the Chrome is too dynamic in its structure sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating invoices and repetitive work which needs to be done precisely has been done which gets us to less errors.
Things which are boring and repetitive for humans can be automated with chances having lesser or 0 errors.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing that blue prism provides is the way of developing the bots, the studio is very much understandable and also easy to use, also the portal of blue prism is very well maintained as it has every details of the features that is provided by blue prism. Its encryption scheme is very good as we store environmental variables and the credentials in the credential manager that is very much secured.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blue prism still lacks some features like automatic recording feature also its OCR feature is not as accurate as its competitor. Though the visual editor is okay but yes its competitors are providing better visual editors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously while doing repetitive work like data entry work or password resets flow like the admin user has to do the same task for every request that this has to be done by every single admin there, so here instead of doing the same repetitive task again and again we created bots that will perform the tasks that will reduce the cost of the person who and all are working on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Blue Prism is a bit complex at beginning if you don't have a proper training it will be difficult for you to understand blue prism easily but once you get to know this it will be like very easy for you to develop the bots for your needs. Tip- Blue prism portal is the best place where you can have proper understanding of the tool.
New chapter in automation
What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism has allowed us to automate processes that run across multiple applications without changing the existing IT landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quality assurance for new versions is in my view insufficient. Unfortunately we notice again and again that there are errors in the versions. Our release management does not allow short-term version changes, so we often have problems here. Support is eager to support, but in general, the chances of success are very low
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to scarce resources in the IT and for budget investments, we have opted for this solution. We have accelerated the quality and processing times. Customer satisfaction could be increased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The solution must fit into the architecture of the company. It is also important that you think about the operating model before the introduction.
Blue Prism feedback
What do you like best about the product?
They are investing in building out a defined customer success model and engagement team to support companies that want to accelerate their mature. This is their 'Success Accelerator'
What do you dislike about the product?
Usability is poor. When compared to UIPath developers prefer to use UIPath. Given the publicly available documentation for UIPath and the usability, onboarding and the quality of initial bots is better. Architecture does not support scalability at an enterprise level. Given security and performance requirements we do not have a way to segment workloads within an environment which means a non-prod and prod environment for each large team. Support has been very poor and there is a lack of urgency around solving customer problems. This is getting a bit better and they need to better manage customer expectations around why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in manual repetitive work. Significant effort savings and contractor $$ avoided
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know your user base and level of development expertise. Set standards early.

Very stable software that is updated regularly for new features. Good control room to monitor operations. Web site with suggested documentation and process templates. User community that meets regularly to share ideas, experiences and tips.
