    Effortless Time Tracking and Management

What do you like best about the product?
I use Rocketlane for projects and I like how it helps us with time tracking through timesheets. It allows us to track time consumed for a particular project effectively. The initial setup was clean and clear, which I really appreciated. Everything about Rocketlane is good and satisfactory for me.

    Nothing all good for me

Top-Notch Onboarding, Support, and Customizable Client View

    Reviewed on Jun 16, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience, support, and wealth of features. The user interface that you can customize for the client view is also top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
With so many features available, not every one is going to be an exact fit or a home run. That’s why it’s important to dig into the details, clarify which features matter most, ask questions, and evaluate them carefully. In our case, the Sheets feature wasn’t one of our main requirements, but we still took time to explore it. Ultimately, it didn’t offer all the spreadsheet capabilities we needed. That said, the features it does include weren’t broken, and it’s possible they’ll expand what it can do over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us in particular, they are solving the problem of messy client onboarding. We are able to take it from a process that relies on very long and confusing email threads, to a process that revolves around a clean and accessible user interface hosted by Rocketlane.

Centralized client projects have improved collaboration but task handling still needs refinement

    Reviewed on Jun 08, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Rocketlane in my organization is mainly used to manage client-facing implementation projects, specifically in the Professional Services department, and it is the project management platform that we use to manage all of our customer-facing implementations.

A typical workflow is that a customer is sold, the booking is closed and passed to me, and I stand up our Rocketlane project plan template that has all of the customer's details from their ServiceNow and Salesforce onboarding integrations. From kickoff until project closure, all of their tasks are managed within Rocketlane.

The main use case is that our project plan is customer-facing, so it is an opportunity for the customer to follow along in the customer portal with their implementation, which hopefully reduces friction.

    What is most valuable?

The best features that Rocketlane offers include automated workflows for getting feature request approvals, change request approvals, and escalating risks. I appreciate that Rocketlane automates all of those communications and gets them to the right executive stakeholders for decisioning and actioning.

Rocketlane has positively impacted my organization by providing project managers and the PMO with a single source of truth, allowing us to see each other's projects and utilizations, share templates, track our time together, and unify us as a team.

    What needs improvement?

One of the most frustrating things about Rocketlane is that for new tasks not part of the template, if they are not assigned a duration, moving the date range of a phase does not automatically move those tasks. I also wish Rocketlane Sheets allowed for expanding the width and height of rows in the same way as Google Sheets or Microsoft Sheets.

Rocketlane has a fairly decent AI product, but the issues I have with it are more about the way my organization builds the prompts. It could be vastly improved, and I would love it if a Rocketlane product manager reached out to my leadership to help improve those prompts.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Rocketlane since November 2025, which is approximately seven months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In my experience, Rocketlane is stable, but being a web-based software, there are typical issues such as transient network issues that can arise.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Rocketlane is totally scalable, and I love it as a scalable product.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support at Rocketlane is amazing, and I would rate the customer support a ten or even an eleven, as it is the best of any product I have ever used.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Rocketlane, I used Microsoft Project, and the reason to switch was based on a recommendation from my leader.

What other advice do I have?

While I do not know that Rocketlane has specifically saved time, reduced errors, or improved customer satisfaction, it has absolutely surfaced customer communication, allowing us to receive customer feedback almost instantaneously on tasks and milestones. This proactive insight has allowed us to course-correct where customer satisfaction has been lower than desirable.

When I joined NICE, the process for highlighting risks included creating a ServiceNow ticket for an incident, filling out a risk form, attaching that to an email, and sending it to an executive who may or may not check their inbox, which resulted in no tracking of risk mitigation. However, with Rocketlane, I enter that risk into a form within a task, and a communication is generated to my leader that I am escalating the risk. Every week my manager is able to filter down to risks on the portfolio and see each project manager's risk across her portfolio with the tasks associated to them, which has been incredibly helpful because no one is asking me where my risk documentation is.

I advise others looking into using Rocketlane to really understand their project process and implementation process before building anything in Rocketlane.

I love the webinars and fun videos that Rocketlane produces. They are very fresh and create excitement around the brand, which is really appealing because project management tools can be very dry.

I provided an overall review rating of seven out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
We've started to better use the objects in Rocketlane to take more advantage of the automation that's available. It's much easier to keep ourselves and our customers on track now that we've fully embraced the tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
They changed the default view for external users and swim lane view is my favorite way to present information. I love that they're iterating but that outcome isn't my favorite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Rocketlane to run very complex multi-month onboardings. It's helping keep anything from falling through the cracks and keeping everybody on track in a way that hasn't been possible before.

Comprehensive Project Management with a Learning Curve

    Reviewed on May 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Rocketlane feels more professionally structured for combining project management and customer communication into one single tool. The auto reminders and updates/status features are very helpful because they avoid the need for manual follow-ups. I also find the project tracking dashboard easy to understand, which helps me manage the current project status. Rocketlane made it easier to manage projects with one centralized platform, compared to the inefficiency of juggling multiple tools like Excel sheets and Teamlogger.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think for a first-time onboarded user, it gets confusing and it's overwhelming looking at multiple options. Need to improve the navigation option, or some guide to navigate. Might be great if there's a search tool that will help if users have queries. The initial setup was a bit challenging, as the team took time to understand the platform and UI. There was confusion at the start, then things became smoother once the team got familiar with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane helps me manage tasks, timelines, and project progress, enabling on-time tracking and direct client communication. It centralizes project-related tasks, eliminating inefficiency from using multiple tools.

Rocketlane: Intuitive, Reliable Project Delivery with Powerful Real-Time Integrations

    Reviewed on May 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
    Navigation & Usability:
Rocketlane's interface is designed with simplicity in mind — all essential menus like project tracking, task management, and client collaboration are organized intuitively on the dashboard. Unlike other tools where I'd spend time hunting through nested menus, everything in Rocketlane is just a click away. This has significantly reduced the time our team spends on administrative tasks, allowing us to focus more on actual project delivery.

    Maintenance & Support:
The platform requires minimal upkeep, which is a huge win for our team. We don't need a dedicated admin to manage it. Whenever we've reached out to their support team, the responses have been quick, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented — making troubleshooting almost effortless.

    Integrations:
What truly sets Rocketlane apart is its integration ecosystem. The Workato integration alone streamlined our data flow between multiple tools, but the real game-changer was their exposed custom connector. It allowed us to build tailored integrations specific to our tech stack without relying on third-party developers. Additionally, all triggers operate in real-time, which means our automated workflows execute instantly — no delays, no missed updates.

    Unexpected Benefit:
One thing I didn't anticipate was how the real-time triggers combined with the custom connector would eliminate manual status updates across platforms. What used to take our team 30+ minutes of daily syncing is now fully automated.

    Overall:
I genuinely haven't found any gaps in their system. Rocketlane delivers a complete, reliable, and efficient experience for managing client projects end to end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, based on my experience so far, I haven't found anything to dislike about Rocketlane. The platform consistently delivers on its promises — from usability to integrations to support. It's been a reliable tool for our team all around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Rocketlane, our customer onboarding process was scattered across multiple tools — tasks lived in spreadsheets, communication happened over emails, and tracking progress meant constant follow-ups. This often led to missed steps, delayed onboarding timelines, and a disjointed client experience.

After implementing Rocketlane, everything related to onboarding — tasks, communication, documents, and timelines — lives in one centralized platform. Client collaboration became seamless, as customers can see exactly where they are in the process without chasing us for updates.

As a result, our onboarding cycle time has noticeably reduced, team accountability has improved since every task has clear ownership, and our clients feel more confident and engaged throughout the journey. What used to require juggling 3-4 tools now happens effortlessly within a single platform.

Reliable Tool for Project Onboarding and Collaboration

    Reviewed on May 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
A reliable tool for project onboarding and collaboration, but there’s still scope for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a bit more customisation for notifications. Right now, message notifications and automation notifications are grouped together, so you end up with too many items to sift through. A separate section specifically for message notifications would make it much easier to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane helps streamline customer onboarding and implementation management by bringing project tracking, communication, document sharing, and task management into a single platform. Earlier, managing projects across multiple tools made it difficult to maintain visibility and keep everyone aligned.
