Efficient Time Tracking with Seamless Project Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Rocketlane for weekly time tracking. It helps us track time spent on tasks and projects in an organized way, improving visibility into how team members allocate their time. Rocketlane makes it easier to manage work and plan by helping with project progress monitoring. The best thing is how easily it integrates time tracking with project tasks to log hours for any particular item. The switch from Tempo/Jira to Rocketlane was motivated by its efficient and simple workflow of projects integration with greater visibility. The initial setup was quick and flawless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting the timesheets could be one thing that can be improved that way anyone could look back at their time logs in past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane helps us track time spent on tasks in an organized way, improving visibility and project progress monitoring. It integrates time tracking with project tasks effortlessly.
Intuitive UI, Helpful Templates, and Wonderful Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive interface, the user experience is very easy. The onoarding is formidable, templates are very helpful and the automation capabilities is wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited reporting limits, but overall is good.

Project tracking and visibility, the automatisation of routine processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The most impressive thing about Rocketlane is its rapid pace of innovation. Over the last year, the improvements in resource management and automated workflows have been game-changers for our team. It doesn't just track tasks; it actually helps us visualize team capacity and prevent burnout.
I also love how much the reporting has matured. We can now pull granular insights into our delivery timelines and project health without having to export everything to a spreadsheet. It’s truly a "source of truth" for our customer-facing projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is incredibly powerful, the sheer amount of customization available means there is a bit of a steep learning curve at the start. It took our team a few weeks to really nail down our global templates. If you’re looking for a simple 'out of the box' task list, this might feel like overkill initially, but the effort pays off once you’re fully set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Rocketlane, our onboarding process was fragmented across emails, spreadsheets, and various PM tools. Rocketlane solved the "black box" problem of customer onboarding.
By using their customer portal and native integrations, we’ve significantly reduced the friction between our sales-to-CS handoffs. Our customers now have a transparent view of the project journey, which has directly improved our Time-to-Value (TTV) and overall client satisfaction.

Great Project Layout and Views, but an Outdated UI and Annoying Bugs
What do you like best about the product?
Nice Layout and structure for all my projects. I like how you can add different views
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is a bit outdated. There are some bugs that are annoying but support team is responsive and quick to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to track all of my projects and their statuses easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, easy to understand. We like that it is a one-stop shop for project management. We have been able to consolidate the use of multiple systems into just using rocketlane instead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of bugs. I have many tickets open/submitted with Rocketlane.
I also heavily dislike the "apply to subtask" filter option in the List view on the project level. It makes things more confusing for the user, it does not make things simpler.
We also dislike that there is not a full admin audit log. You can export audit logs for projects, but as admins, we have no way of seeing an audit trail of, for example, who deleted a field, who created a custom field and when/time, who added a user to the system, who deactivated a user along with time and date etc.

We use to have to use multiple systems, now we can rely on just Rocketlane. This saves our users time and helps overall company profitability. We also like the use of the customer portal, and easy project lists with the ability to create custom project lists and general task list views. We like that this is customizable.

Rocketlane’s Super-Responsive, Helpful Support Team
What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane support team is very helpful. Whenever we have any queries, they are very quick to respond. The onboarding and training was also very seamless and it's fairly easy to use.

We cannot forward any email from outside to RL

It provides a collaborative space for the team and clients to share information on a project. The task and individual communication thread makes it effortless to track conversations.
A Solid Client Portal for Sharing Data with Customers
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Rocketlane is the scope of features it offers. It covers so much of the onboarding and implementation process in one place, which makes it easy to manage work without constantly switching tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templating properly can be a little tricky. It’s powerful and flexible, but that flexibility isn’t always obvious at first. You often have to get over a few hurdles and really understand how things are set up before it starts to feel easy and adaptable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, Rocketlane mainly solves the problem of displaying information to clients in a clear, centralized way through the client portal. It gives clients visibility into relevant data and progress without needing separate tools or constant updates, which makes communication simpler and more consistent.
Effortless Timesheet Tracking with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
Timesheets is very easy to track, there is lots of automation possible and support respond quickly to issues. The detail you can add for each project makes it a tool worth using to track project progress as well as financials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations with common tools such as GSuite would be useful. This is not the ideal tool for large projects with many people as project management tool inside is not mature enough.

Timetracking, project management, financial oversight are problems being solved by RocketLane.
Good application for customer success team
What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane is easy to use and intuitive, so the team was able to adopt it quickly with minimal training. Implementation was smooth, and the onboarding support from the Rocketlane team was responsive and helpful. We use the platform frequently as part of our day-to-day onboarding and implementation activities. It offers the right number of features without feeling overwhelming, and integrations with other tools are straightforward, making it easy to fit into our existing tech stack.

Some advanced configurations and reporting options have a learning curve, and a few features could be more intuitive for first-time users.

Rocketlane helps us manage customer onboarding by providing a structured workflow, a shared client portal, real-time visibility, and pre-built templates with defined stages, keeping everyone aligned and reducing onboarding delays.
Rocketlane = Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
Rocketlane has revolutionised out operations and reporting and we use it on a daily basis. It's user-friendly, it allows my Team to do things we've never been able to do before. The AI chat bot is one of the best I've seen and the Support Team who's ready to jump in if AI can't help is outstanding. They're very quick to respond. Our relationship with our CSM and TAM is great too - overall, it's a pleasure to work with Rocketlane!

Reporting capabilities lack certain important features, but Rocketlane takes on feedback and are working towards improving their reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work closely with our CSM and TAM to discuss out issues and they're always ready to suggest a solution, or take on the feedback. We finally have visibility into the brilliant work the team does, and we have invaluable data and insights we can use to put together reports and keep improving our operational efficiency.
