Everything we need for Onboarding in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I was really happy with the sales and onboarding process. Everyone I've met from Rocketlane has been really helpful. They listen and work to understand our use cases and share tips and tricks on how best to achieve our goals. We're most excited about having clear, transparent data about all our projects in one place that integrates with our other systems and tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project management features (updating dates, moving dependencies, etc.) have been a little cumbersome, but it's pushing us to clean up our templates and simplify what we need to track. I also appreciate Rocketlane's willingness to take product feedback ideas from us! I'm excited to see the product evolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane is a one-stop-shop for our project management, customer onboarding, and internal resource management. It is helping us collect better data about our projects and identify effeciencies.

Straightforward Interface & Excellent Support Program
What do you like best about the product?
While using Rocketlane, I found the interface learning steps straightforward to understand. In addition, their templating system helps to create a streamlined process right at the start of signing up. Although I found my way around rather quickly, the onboarding team from RocketLane did a fantastic job showing me the "hidden" or "less know" elements of the software that I did not know about until speaking with them. I do not doubt that someone with less tech/ interface knowledge would be able to learn the program quickly with their support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the functionality between the internal and client-facing dashboards were a bit more streamlined. For example, in Rocketlane, you can view your client's dashboard, but it only shows you a preview. If you wanted to "test" your system, you would need to create another login, sign in on another browser, and then go through the process as a "client." I feel Rocketlane could do a much better job allowing admin users to preview and "onboard" themselves to preview their system.
Second, Rocketlane is a powerful tool with lots of features. However, access to these robust tools comes with a pricing premium compared to other "project management" tools. Therefore, if your business only plans on using some features, this option might not be the best unless your team plans on using all of its offerings, like time tracking, templates, forms, quizzes, client dashboards, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocketlane has allowed my business to become semi-automated right out of the gate. With this tool, my company can onboard new clients (and team members) incredibly quickly without needing emails, calls, and other forms of communication. The custom templates you can build inside Rocketlane have also helped my business become more streamlined. The possibilities are endless with the type of templates you can create and use over and over for your clients. Plus, the plan I selected allows unlimited clients, so we never have to worry about user account issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive the interface is and how quickly I can update a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more flexibility in seeing exactly what clients see when they login (in customer view I cannot open links).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us stay on track with projects and giving clients visibility into tasks/progress etc.
Overall an intuitive system which we expect will provide a better onboarding experience

The emails can't be customised extensively - I think in the future this will need more flexibility for larger companies to be able to tailor the brand experience

It is way better than conventional project management tools

The workflows when adding tasks, and phases in terms of updating them are rudimentary

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I liked about the rocketlane is the great visibility and transparency to all the stakeholders. It is a great platform for a project.

The user interface can be more simple and user friendly

For me, the rocketlane is solving the issue of client onboarding as it helps in keeping the proper track of tasks and subtasks for the assignee.
Rocketlane Honest Review From a Regular User's Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
In my five years of career in the IT industry, I have been using multiple platforms under the same domain as Rocketlane. Still, I would say this is the best app I have used to track my project activity and maintain tasks, projects and timesheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
So it was tough for me to find any flaws in Rocketlane platform, but after spending a couple of years with the app, I can say that the UI of the app can look better. Because sometimes its layout goes out of the frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So one of the big problems in the software development life cycle is maintaining and managing tasks efficiently because sometimes the project size is way more significant, and it becomes tough for a team manager to divide and assign tasks to team members rightly. So, Rocketlane is solving this problem by providing separate tabs for Tasks, Projects, and Assingees to manage these things efficiently. And this is most useful thing which benefiting all the users.
Good Application with a lot more corrections needed.

Improvements needed: -
1. System lags a lot, we need to open multiple screens to work.
2. Multiple sub-screens are getting opened to update a single piece of information.
3. Needs a separate chat window for the messages sent by the customer. It becomes challenging for us to search the chat between the task notifications.
4. In the project dashboard screen, after opening the project and completing the task, if we come back, the page doesn't remain the same, and again, we need to search for the project name; this takes more time.
5. The chat screen needs to improve, as the real-time update takes more time to load the chat.
6. Rocketlane mobile app is required for ease of use.
