Great experience using Rocketlane. Highly customizable.
What do you like best about the product?
Creating dashboards and filters which gives detailed overview of all the projects both at individual level and at the team level. Tracking timesheets have also been really good with rocketlane.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike except for one time when comments field value inside a project became empty once. thanks to the support team which helped to retreive the previious data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a Client Portal for the clients where they can see the progress of the project and sending the project updates has become very easy using rocketlane.

Building out the steps of our onboarding process in Rocketlane was straightforward to do and make it easy to track and visualize work.

Notification options could be more robust

We have a long, complex onboarding process. It helps us and the customer visualize the work and stay on track.

Restricted reporting capabilities but that is not down to the tool, I just don't have access to build custom reports.

Project Management across multiple projects

So far so good! I like that I get reminders when things are due, I can add statuses for what I'm working on and can adjust dates based on where the project is.

I wish we could schedule automated emails.

Great functionality, onboarding experience not optimal
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many options within Rocketlane that will allow us to track milestones, collect data, and make informed decisions to imrpove the pace of our onboarding model. I have had positive experiences so far troubleshooting with support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding experience with Rocketlane has been overly complex and not tailored to meet our needs. We have to repeat ourselves on nearly every call. Content is repeated frequently and I've come to expect sessions to always go over in time. We opted for a train-the-trainer approach to train our own team internally because we knew we could provide a better experience for them.

Staying on top of project updates has never been easier. The clean and intuitive UI has been a big hit with our customers, making the portal a seamless experience for everyone involved.

Reporting could be more user-friendly, intuitive, and further building the Open APIs capability would help integrate Rocketlane with more 3rd party tools

It is sometimes slow and you need to repeat steps and date changes before it saves.

It helps me track all the tasks that I need to complete before onboarding a new client.
Productive & Efficient Platform for cross team collabration and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the new Control visibility for custom reports where I can provide custom access for reports, I can now scheduled the reports by setting a cadence. The new UI update is more cleaner and easier to access. Also the new formatting features specially conditional formatting like G-Sheets is really productive

I think they worked upon the UI that I requested, still theres a need for Dark Mode that can really help the users
