Not having to write our own mulltitenant CMS service
Contentful makes publishing and organizing content intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface makes finding, publishing, and editing the content you need easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "download" button is right next to the "delete" button on the dropdown menu on images, and I've accidently deleted photos that I can't find again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easier to get more team members onboarded because it's so much easier to conceptualize than our last platform.
Amazing content manager
What do you like best about the product?
Contentful is Amazing when handling and managing content; the API's are well defined and are easy to use, the API's it's what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not so intuitive; it's challenging to search for content; when searching, I have sometimes press `enter` and everything related to the search gets messed up, then I have to delete at least one letter, and I can continue my search.
I think this is because Contentful's UI starts searching for every key pressed and not when we press the `enter` key.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it at Xoom to deliver all the client-side content, including email and SMS content. We have encountered that it's easy to handle translations using their APIs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider to use your own UI on top of the Contentful APIs if you have a dedicated content team, this is because the Contentful's UI search is sometimes challenging to use.
Intuitive interface and UX
What do you like best about the product?
The UX for contentful is very intuitive and makes it so much easier for users to create and manage the site content
What do you dislike about the product?
There was no option to have HTML embed content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to create a well managed site, the content model has helped in doing so
Very intuitive tool to help build great looking content pages.
What do you like best about the product?
The library of the useful modules is great and very user friendly. I would like to see more modules introduced in the future for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main page layout needs a little more pictorial or naming possibility for each module so we know exactly which one we are using without opening the module.

The usefulness and user-friendly ness and quick turnaround help us build great content which is quick and visible or review in real-time.

Having a single source of truth has been great for our developer team

I have kind of mixed feelings about being able to modify the content without actually hitting the save button.

We use the product for all our environments and it's a central repository for all our feature and needs. Very easy to work with and intuitive ineterface.

You can't just give access to one environment specifically like just qa access

Solid SaaS with continuous improvements and expansion in functionality, which means that the product continues to evolve to meet current-day needs.

The tooling could be improved to support different platforms (right now it's quite web-technologies oriented).

Improving speed and efficiency of content delivery, unlocking personalized experiences, and speed to market for content-based experiences.
Smart application, but confusing.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface. It's smooth, and the options with which to filter are lovely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that there are a lot of different types of resources, like entries, assets, etc., and to a new user, this isn't very clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentful is much better than other CMS platforms, and creating internal apps to work with Contentful is does not involve too much work.
