Tackle makes the AWS Marketplace make sense

What do you like best about the product?
First, Tackle helped us get on the AWS Marketplace fast. I mean really fast. They took an overly complex process and made it easy for us and that was very valuable to us. What's going to have a bigger impact however is making sense of all the AWS Marketplace data. In true AWS fashion, the data is there, but getting at the information is painful and making sense of it even harder. If you are an AWS SaaS company, you might be tempted to build all of this yourself, and you could if you really wanted to, but resist that urge. This is heavy lifting that takes your focus away from your customers and delivering value, just let Tackle be your marketplace co-pilot and focus your time on what's important, your customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tackle is a small company, growing crazy fast, which means there are some rough edges and functionality that still needs to be built out, but they have always been very responsive. As long as they keep the features and improvements coming we will be a customer for the long haul.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We made the decision to drive all of our sales in the AWS ecosystem through the AWS marketplace, it would have been a much scarier decision and frankly maybe one we wouldn't have even decided to make if we didn't have Tackle along for the ride to ensure things were managed successfully. Thanks to Tackle we got on the marketplace in under a month and feel confident using the AWS marketplace going forward.

Tackle's expertise in marketplace is beyond just their integration to Marketplace API's. Everyone from the sales team, to management, to customer success really focused on making sure we knew about the correct product listing options for our product, correct pricing strategies for scenarios we didn't think of, how to sell with AWS, and they were FAST (I think we were up in 4 days). We are excited to start selling on the AWS Marketplace with Tackle's ongoing great support and services. The Downstream reporting dashboard is going to be a lifesaver.

Aspect is very excited about the new opportunity that is available to us as the first enterprise workforce management solution provider to go live in the marketplace. Tackle was instrumental in generating that opportunity for us. Tackle possesses the business leadership and technical subject matter expertise to successfully launch customer's in swift and accurate form. Transacting in the marketplace is a new way of doing business for Aspect and was initially viewed with uncertainty. However, Tackle's understanding of how to translate marketplace activities with our back-office mechanisms, along with their user friendly dashboard to organize customer entitlements, view financial throughputs, and meter customers gave us the comfort we needed to pursue our listing. They also have close ties with the marketplace product owners to help drive flexibility enhancements in future releases.
