Good Platform for runtime data Visibility

What do you like best about the product?
The way the mo engage integrates the events from our app and tracks the live runtime event-level activity data is really really impressive. Infact we use google firebase also for tracking the similar level of data for visualizing and verifying what is happening in the business. We use both tools (MoEngage and Firebase) for cross-validation of our business metrics/events across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the tool was great, we felt there are few issues with the tool which didnot solve our purpose greatly.

1) They claim, the tool captures data at runtime but we have over a period of time observed lag of data which usually takes around a week's time to normalize. Which is causing a lot of damage to our business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage is a good tool consisting solutiong for Consumer Analytics. A lot of event level(most granular level of data capturing can be automated and stores for visualizations and analysis purpose)

2) Querying can be done without writing the queries but just by applying some filters on the data. What is really appreciate is the great inbuild functionality that is available in the tool.

3) Last but not least, Their AI-driven personalization is a great tool to schedule campaigns for our business and it automatically picks the active user base and send it over all the campaigns scheduled.

Customer engagement and app analytics in a single package

What do you like best about the product?
After a user has been onboarded on our app, we use MoEngage to enter these users into onboarding flows, direct them to event-triggered user journeys and send them personalized notifications based on their behavior or interaction with the app and a few blanket notifications. The user interface is clean and tidy, professional color theme, self-explanatory process to create dashboards, funnels and campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we see a major delay in getting the call back of delivery status which results in delays in the sending time of notification and hence affects the next notifications too.
While doing AB testing between variants, we should be provided an option that if one variant is performing better than the other, then all impressions of the best performing variant would be served, right now even with Sherpa this feature is lacking.
Importing users and then creating a custom segment is a very long process, this too with a limit on the users that can be imported at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage has provided us a platform with which we can reach out to our users, educate them about important use cases of the product they are missing on, increase our feature adoption, and run experimentation around the success/failure of various features through in-app surveys and event usage.
The campaign creation flow is very smooth, we can target/exclude by choosing from various user attributes, behavior, event triggers etc.
Retention and uninstall mapped to session count and source help us in eliminating poor-performing campaigns, not only on the notification front but on acquisition channels too.
Geofencing is a very important feature that lets us send geographically segmented and personalized notifications(using locale and custom user attribute in text) to our users.

What do you like best about the product?
Flows have got multiple features to make shooting campaigns easier. I find the segmentation engine very easy to use and also the behaviour analysis is easy to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
SMS integration is very difficult. Also, most features like 'best time to send ' are add-ons at extra pricing even though these are basic features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me solve my product marketing worries, i can set up and shoot campaigns all under one umbrella

What do you like best about the product?
A very useful tool in marketing

What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very user-friendly tool designed with respect to giving the user a nice and easily accessible interface, but if the limitation of extracting the data shall not be limited to 60 Days, it would be a great help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can easily track the frequency and monetary basis as per the use of our events.
It helps in solving the problem of evaluating the Targets on different parameters.

The data can be extracted for only 60 days and certain events are missing out which will help in better marketing automation and better analytics insights on the same

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage helps us retain our user base easier than expected, the process is efficient yet powerful, and the RFM segment is magnificent for user targeting.
Using flows we can build our own user journey and retain them easily, compared to firebase MoEngage works way better, it provides visuals with text and stylized notification.

What do you dislike about the product?
MoEngage's service is comparatively slow, and the delivery rate is good but slow results. Analytics does not provide whole data and has an issue with the Database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User segmentation and identification are accessible and affordable. The fetching database is easy with MoEngage. Using the RFM segment is straightforward and gives excellent data related to the user base.

Decent CRM Marketing Tool

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage is a CRM tool that is easy to use. It also has an intuitive UI that makes it easy to navigate and understand, especially for someone who is not in the marketing field.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionalities of MoEngage can be quite limiting compared to several other tools out there such as NetCore. In my opinion, they also don't have the greatest onboarding team as we struggled with integrating to MoEngage for the longest time due to not having the full picture of everything that was required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to build a complete user engagement journey using Email in MoEngage. This will allow us to onboard our customers seamlessly along with giving us the capabilities to retarget and resurrect customers that may have dropped off at the various touchpoints we have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a good CRM Marketing tool to help with your marketing automation, I would recommend MoEngage. However, just be wary regarding the onboarding process and make sure you have your team working closely with MoEngage. Otherwise, you may realise that you would be needing to continuously do integration work to reap the full benefit of the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy creation of user flows like network flow or engagement flow or onboarding flow.
2. Ease if negating certain user segments, attributes and flows from active campaigns.
3. Testing the look and feel of scheduled notification in a test device.
4. It s super useful for detailed product analysis, such as user-level behaviour, custom event tracking, and creating custom dashboards for visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Uninstall level data is not correct.
2. Not possible to send gifs or videos in notifications.
3. They only store user attribute data for 2 months, therefore very difficult to do old user segmentation, before two months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use MoEngage to create user journeys and segments as this increase the scope of personalisation while sending notifications or emails. It helps us in setting up an engagement-focused notification journey for users. It also enabled us to identify the best-performing customer segments and we were able to cross-leverage this data for other marketing campaigns. It has helped us improve on our app stickiness as we were able to reengage our users more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool that helps in automating marketing journeys, via auto-triggered and scheduled push notifications. An amazing tool to have, if you do not want to miss out on keeping your existing userbase engaged.
