What do you like best about the product?
It gives us an option to do A/B testing based on the type of text and image of the push notifications. Also the deliverbaility rate is higher than that of Clevertap.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they could come up with strategies of how to increase retention, that would have been better. Also the insights provided by them are not enough and doesn’t really solve the problem of retention. Therefore we can say it’s just a notification deliverability tool .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m trying to solve the problem of retention through Moengage. So far the experience has been good.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service part is the best with MoEngage apart from the product in itself. It has some of the best features that are very important for a marketer. Push amp plus which increases the deliverability for Xiaomi OEM (is one of the largest mobile OEM in India) does help increase the reach by a significant percentage.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish MoEngage was competitive in pricing. Compared to other players in the market MoEngage is expensive. But if all the exclusive features are made use of then it's still worth the money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of the easiness in using the tool it has saved time for the execution team. Also, the features MoEngage offers are resulting in better performance (In terms of CTR and deliverability) and also reduce execution error.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If internal marketing channels (Push Notifications and emails) are considered as your key marketing channels to get traffic and to increase retention, then MoEngage for sure gives all the required options to deliver, perform and achieve the desired results.

Easy to create standard campaigns. Platform is intuitive for beginners.
Can create in-app and notification campaigns through dashboard easily and track stats like impressions, conversions etc.

Exhaustive documentation is not present. Also platform is not robust enough for advanced users to use. There are limited options for customized implementations.

I require a customized payload implementation for my notification campaign, which is not available with Moengage. Also for customized implementations, stats like impressions, clicks etc not available.
