Empowering Mobile Teams with Full Visibility and Enhanced User Experiences

  • June 06, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Comprehensive visibility: Embrace provides mobile teams with full visibility across releases, allowing them to closely monitor and analyze the performance, stability, and feature health of their mobile applications. This comprehensive visibility enables teams to make data-driven decisions and effectively address any issues that arise.

Improved user experiences: By identifying and solving problems that other toolsets may overlook, Embrace helps mobile teams enhance the overall user experience of their applications. It enables teams to proactively detect and address issues related to performance, crashes, freezes, and other stability problems, ensuring a smoother and more reliable user experience.

Accelerated feature development: With Embrace, mobile teams can accelerate their feature development process. By providing insights and solutions specific to mobile applications, Embrace helps teams identify and address feature-related issues promptly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: Depending on the pricing structure of Embrace, some users may find it expensive, especially for smaller mobile teams or individual developers. The cost factor could be a potential downside, particularly if the benefits provided by Embrace are not perceived as being worth the investment.

Integration challenges: Integrating Embrace into existing development workflows and toolchains might present difficulties for some users. If the platform does not seamlessly integrate with their current processes or requires substantial configuration and setup, it could be seen as a drawback.

Dependency on a third-party tool: Relying heavily on a third-party platform like Embrace can introduce a level of dependency for mobile teams. Some users may prefer more control over their development process and prefer not to rely on external tools for critical aspects of their application monitoring and optimization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we can leverage Embrace to proactively identify and resolve stability issues in their mobile apps. By detecting crashes, freezes, or other stability problems, users can quickly address these issues before they impact a significant number of users. This helps maintain app stability, reducing frustration and increasing user satisfaction.
By gaining full visibility into the behavior of their mobile apps, users can make data-driven decisions to enhance the overall user experience. Embrace provides insights into how users interact with the app, helping users understand areas for improvement and optimize features accordingly. This leads to higher user engagement and increased app retention.

Best platform to understand root causes of bad behavior in mobile apps

  • December 05, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Embrace provides the deepest details that helps teams understand what is really causing bad behavior in mobile applications
- They have a very supportive team
- They are constantly improving their platform and always open to feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
- The platform's UI still feels a little clunky, but this is constantly being improved and it does not affect productivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Embrace is helping my company identify what are the true root causes of bad behavior (ANRs, Crashes, Out-of-memory errors) in mobile applications. They also provide alerts to help us not only identify these after they have happened, but also to prevent excessive occurrences.

Finally an app-based solution to improve our knowledge about our product and users

  • September 30, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We can centralise in one unique space our app’s key performing indicators, such as logs, crashes, sessions or custom events.
It is also remarkable that we can easily find a specific user session and study how they behaved at each stage. We couldn’t do this before using G. Analytics or Firebase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is a technical tool, it might not be easy for non-technical colleagues to understand the data stored. However, we can create custom dashboards that do not require specialised knowledge so anyone can monitor them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We improved our customer satisfaction since we can quickly see specific user sessions and how they perform. This means that when a customer calls our CS team to report any issue, we can easily find that session and give the user a quicker and more helpful answer.
We also have an easier way to detect potential bugs since we can see the customers’ path and find the points where the flow is not working as expected. The custom alerts with Slack or email helped us detect specific errors too.
By tracking the moments we consider essential, we can monitor abandonments, errors, or how long it takes users to complete an action. This helped us detect that payment time was taking longer than expected, and we were able to reduce it considerably.

Offers insight into what is actually going on in your app

  • June 30, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Embrace offers granular information about both user interaction and system behaviour of your app, making it easy to diagnose the causes of both user reported and externally identified faults.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - I'm eager to see further developments as they have implemented some suggestions like more sorting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Embrace gives us close to white box inspection of how our application is behaving out in the wild. It has allowed us to identify the causes of issues such as failed application launches and strange API errors that would have been nearly impossible or require days of investigation otherwise.

The best mobile monitoring tool we've come across so far

  • June 16, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The session timeline feature is a lifesaver. We have been able to cut resolve time by at least 50% in most critical scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would love to have more query abilities in the tool, and we've actually been seeing updates around this area. It's getting better and our team is happy with the upgrade so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most critical metric would be MTTR. It was difficult earlier because engineers struggle to reproduce bugs. Embrace eliminates that step by presenting all the logs from the exact session.

The UI is a little rough, but it is always improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our app quality is getting better month over month as a result of the platform helping us prioritize issues that are effecting the largest numbers of users.

The level of details in the crashes and network monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Jira is not super easy if the project contains custom fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Embrace mostly to monitor errors and network calls. Thanks to the combination of monitoring and alert, we can improve our intervention time on bugs.

Most valuable Mobile framework

  • June 08, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Embrace helps identify core of any issues your app is facing, without invading user privacy. Their SDK is very lightweight, is easy to integrate and provides a ton of value to engineers, QA, Product Managers and more.

I really like the dashboard feature, which allows me to easily build purpose-driven dashboards that help answer various questions (and at varying granularity). For example, we have a Metrics dashboard which shows us things like Daily Active Users, which versions our users are using, Operating System breakdown (to make better decisions about support) and New Users to see how well our app is growing. We also have a Performance dashboard that provides glanceable graphs for Startup, crashes, network request spikes, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web dashboard has a LOT of information on it, and new users can sometimes get lost. I also wish there was better Enterprise support for those who work across various "groups" in a company, where app permissions need more granularity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've lost count the number of times where I was able to use Embrace to quickly diagnose an issue. Recently, there was a trend in our logging that exposed a pretty fatal flaw that we were unaware of - we had a user report an issue and a single log help identify the specific issue. We then used that log to see how many other users were experiencing the issue. It was very clear at that point what the problem was, and it wouldn't have been possible without Embrace.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Embrace was one of the first tools that provided a mobile-first approach to analytics. Many other tools started on the web and added on mobile, which translate very well.
