Proofpoint protection prowess
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the product helped to ensure the implementation worked to enable us to gain protection at a higer rate. This product is highly used throughout our org ensabling us to gain a greater defense posture and ensuring we have up to date intelligence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only having the ID in the TAP platform. It would be great to have more context data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has enabled us to ensure our environment and users have the protection they need and the ability to scale.
Simple setup and powerful protection
What do you like best about the product?
The clean dashboards and powerful information presented in such a digestible way. The ease of implimentation was a highlight for me. and the ongoing support i have received has been incredibly helpful in keeping us on top of our email records.
What do you dislike about the product?
navigation with the filters can sometimes be a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves a management of our email records and helps curbed the spoofing we were experiencing.

Proofpoint TAP (Targeted Attack Protection)
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional limited context for some threats, i.e why is a domain being flagged. What is the threat being identified (in some instances we may just get the threat ID)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to scale up the protection of our email stack across a global team of colleagues. Enabling the organisation to move at the speed of science and make breakthroughs that change patients lives.

Significant Reduction in Phishing Deliveries vs competitors.
TRAP/Clear allows for remediation of threats post delivery which given the dynamic landscape of threats is a significantly useful feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
Too many URLs, sometimes feels disjointed vs competitors, however this has been address with a pending UI release in 2025, can't wait.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in phishing deliveries pre delivery, and remediates threats that have slipped through post delivery.

The frequency and breadth of updates to signatures and technologies means we can be confident that our 18k+ users emails are protected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new admin interface is taking too long!

Proofpoint heads off our BEC, Phish, Spam, Virus and DLP headaches.

Legacy interfaces that are not interconnected.

I know that it can be relied on to protect the organisation and reduce human risk.
Best product to protect your email
What do you like best about the product?
Best detection in class, fast support response, lots of options and perfect threat response actions. Working with the product and helping us on daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Was a bit strange to configure, but all sorted out when new admin center was developed. Much easier administration now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much less spam, gray mail, and overall better protecion of end users.
it resolved business email compromise situation that gotten out of control pretty quickly.

It reduces amount of phish messages to end users to great extent.

The fact that you cant have more granular control of RBAC
