Easy use for me and my team
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has varying level sof use, so it can be as simple to use as a personal checklist, but can also be used to set up a project for multiple team members to work across.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the more complicated aspects of the tool, it can be intimidating for newer users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me organized and accountable for my daily tasks. Anything that isn't a very quick to-do from emails gets put in Asana so that I can both track my progress and track the progress of others on my team who I am waiting on.
Cute and fun for daily tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I really love using Asana as it really clears the level of understanding of what needs to be done and it does so in very easy to use way. I love how after a task is completed there is a little animation that motivates me further to completing more tasks as well as making me feel more accomplished in even small tasks like writing an email or checking the mail.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more personalization options. As a bullet journal person, I really love taking the time to customize my lists and my areas so the lack of personalization does deter me from using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with deadlines, it gives me a clear time frame and even sends reminders of when tasks are due.
Enjoying Asana So Far!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has really helped me to manage my client work and keep track of everything within this side of the business. I couldn't run my business without it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it can be a bit clunky, there's a lot of great features but they lack depth. There's a few small but important features that are missing, like additional filtering on the My Tasks page, issues with repeating tasks when the task has sub tasks, etc. I found all of these issues come up as feature requests from people in the past but they haven't been implemented in years.
I'm still in the process of trying to figure out the best way to set it up for my business, but I do find there to be a lack of resources on specific use cases, so you're left to figure it out yourself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The management of client work and making sure everything is completed on time.
Asana ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to communicate across teams, easy to integrate into slack workflows. I like the visuals and the user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could see when descriptions of tasks were last updated. Too many emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
clarity around projects, 1 place to discuss tasks and projects, 1 place to store links and info
Asana is great if you know what you're doing
What do you like best about the product?
Consistent reminders without pestering - basically an amazing assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of automation without programming it in myself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving ways in which we work collaboratively
Good for collaborative work, but not so user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Asana, I can see all of my teams work in one place. I also like the automated rules feature, which takes some workload off of me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Asana is not initially very user friendly, and it's interface can be a little confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of a lack of streamlining in the workplace.
Nice to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can have all the projects in one area. I also like that we have a common platform instead of having to dig through emails text messages, meeting notes and Slack to find out what’s going on with the project. It’s nice to have all the communication in one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
That if it is not set up properly, it’s very time-consuming and it is kind of a waste. That people need to check the due dates, Marc when things are complete so other tasks can start. It’s only as good as the information given just like any other software, but sometimes it is hard if I am planning my day looking at my tasks and other people don’t use the software properly. It can really mess a project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the deadline feature, and I like the sub tasks where some tasks are reliant on other things being done first the order of operations is extremely important
Tricky to Learn, But Very Beneficial Once Learned How to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is the ease of use, and the ease of integration of the platform. Our retail stores greatly benefit from the platform to use it for project management, making sure everyone at corporate and at each store is on the same page, and keeping one another updated on projects, events, or tasks! Overall, makes the business flow better and makes everyone more well informed!
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I have encountered with Asana is learning how to use it at first as it does half a bit of a learning curve as there are so many ways things can be done on the app. It would take a superior coworker with a good understanding of the platform to get you on your way or look up resources from the website or YouTube!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our business solve the problem of making sure everyone at corporate and everyone in each retail store is on the same page and everyone can follow along or chime into certain given tasks to make sure for example delivery items are received, event promotion material was received and proper planning is done from the top down as well as explaining marketing objectives and clear events.
Solid platform; would love a bit more flexibility in reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We love Asana, it creates a clear view of the path forward on our team. Love that is can connect to goals and integrates with our other tools like Slack, Zoom, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
We utilize Projects as Team views, so reporting against our true projects (which are actually task sections) can be difficult. But, overall a solid experience!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Review process, projects feeding our goals, and overall project management and workflow for a global/async team.
Easy to use but less feature rich
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a simple, clean and user-friendly project management tool that I used with one of my clients from UK. You can very easily create and sub-tasks with desired deadline for team members. It also support integration with other tool like Harvest, Zoom, Gmail, Slack etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is easy to use but it still lacks some useful features and therefore I used it less frequent as compared to other similar tool for project management and communication purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me it help me in communicating with my UK client who was using it already. He was the only person with whom I used Asana for communication as well as project/task management and reporting.
