Streamlined Task Management with Easy Automations

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's automations. It's great for me as a project manager because it helps when tasks move between completed or under review status, and also helps in knowing who is working on what. It's great for our marketing agency to move tests efficiently for the team and I appreciate the notifications about due tasks and moving to risk status. This is the main thing I find useful. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana is very simple. It's easy to set up and customize the automations, although it takes a bit of time, but the AI works well and does everything for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to see how Asana can be improved because there are so many tools that I sometimes don't even use. The integration with Slack could be better, as the notifications seem misconfigured. The way the text looks in Slack for notifications is different now and could use improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to avoid forgetting tasks, keep documents in one spot for the team, and save time on communication without emails. I like Asana's automations for moving tasks and status updates, notifications of due dates, and it helps manage projects smoothly.

An Effective Platform for Managing Company Tasks and Updates

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been a very useful tool for managing projects and daily tasks over the past year. I’ve been using it to handle company task lists, regular updates, and overall workflow tracking, and it has made coordination much easier. Tasks can be created quickly, assigned to team members, and tracked with clear due dates, which helps everyone stay aligned. The list and board views are especially helpful for organizing work and monitoring progress. We regularly update company-related lists and ongoing activities in Asana, and everything stays wellstructured and easy to follow. Adding comments, files, and subtasks within each task keeps all communication in one place and reduces unnecessary back-and-forth on email or other tools. Asana also improves visibility across the team, so everyone knows their responsibilities and upcoming deadlines. Notifications and reminders are reliable and help prevent missed follow-ups. Overall, Asana has improved productivity, collaboration, and transparency in our workflow. It’s a dependable platform for both day to day task management and longer-term planning, making it easier to manage work efficiently as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Honestly, there's a lot to like about Asana, but a few things could be improved. Sometimes the number of notifications can feel overwhelming if you're part of multiple projects. Also, for new users, the learning curve can be a bit confusing at first especially with all the features packed in. And while the free version is great, some of the most useful tools like Timeline or advanced reporting are only available in paid plans. But overall, it's still a solid tool for staying organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of scattered work and unclear task ownership. Before using Asana, it was difficult to track company task lists, updates, and ongoing work across different people and timelines. Important followups were often missed, and updates were spread across messages and emails. With Asana, all tasks are organized in one place, making it easy to see what needs to be done, who is responsible, and when it’s due. Over the past year, I’ve been using Asana to manage company lists, regular updates, and multiple ongoing tasks, which has brought much more clarity and structure to our workflow. The ability to break work into tasks and subtasks helps in managing even small details without confusion. Asana also improves team coordination by providing realtime visibility into progress. Instead of constantly asking for updates, I can simply check the task status. Comments, attachments, and activity history keep all communication connected to the work itself, reducing misunderstandings. Ultimately, Asana has helped improve productivity, accountability, and time management. It saves time, reduces manual tracking, and ensures that nothing important slips through the cracks, making daily operations smoother and more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the workflows and the ease of assigning tasks. I love that you can copy a lot of the functionality from project to project. The AI support is tremendously helpful especially with creating workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more resources on reporting . I do not find it easy to learn how Asana can report on our projects in a consumable format. The search functionality could improve as well mostly how to find files or attachments across Asana even within projects that are not mine.

I use Asana to efficiently manage deadlines and tasks across our team, keeping everyone on track. It helps us maintain order with customer activities, stories, and events.
