Easy to Use

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is user-friendly and easy to use with little to no training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I dislike about this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me and my VA work on tasks and ensure that we meet the deadlines assigned. I like that I can link files from Google Drive to the various tasks for quick reference.

Effective way to organise all elements of my life

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a lifesaver for me! I have so many things going on: my own business (membership site, blog, social
media, YouTube channel). I also help to run a kids football club and am in the midst of home renovations and planning major trips abroad. Asana helps me organise every element of my life so no task (however small) is ever forgotten.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often tell Siri to add a task to asana while in the car. As I can’t assign a date I tend to check recent tasks and forget about it! Can Siri learn to add a date for the task too?
I use the My Tasks > List view every day, but it’s frustrating that the tasks within sections aren’t in chronological order by time of day they need completing. it would be great to sort these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have recently taken on a staff member and have easily been able to move over a lot of my repeating admin tasks to her

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to integrate into what software we are already using. It makes a seamless tool to bring all of our software together. It creates efficiencies and allows me to see all of my teams tasks in one place. Our efficiency is through the roof and it helps relieve my teams stress and anxiety around complex projects. We use it every day and it couldn't be much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions could use a more obvious menu scheme.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple competing priorities across a range of projects. Our work volume has increased dramatically, and our old methods of tasks management wasn't working. We all used different methods, we needed to consolidate into one format where we could see at a glance if we are on track. It dramatically cuts the number of emails and conference calls we have to generate saving us a lot of time. It also helps my more junior team members to prioritize based on impact and timelines.

My favorite work management platform I've tried

What do you like best about the product?
The basic features are simple and that's key to getting staff to buy-in to a tool like this. It's easy to understand and creates clarity across team members on what they should be working on. Support is great as there are a number of trainings, live workshops and more you can participate in. We use it daily for all of our non-profit work.
What do you dislike about the product?
They add new functionality frequently (which is good) but the overall simplicity gets more convoluted once you start taking advantage of more features. I liked Asana when it was pretty barebones because of its simplicity and depending on the technical aptitude of your users, some may struggle. We've also become a little overzealous at times with adding too much into Asana and making it difficult to use but that is our own undoing and no fault of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small team with a lot of various initiatives. Asana helps us manage timing, resources, due dates and collaborate.

Driving Productivity

What do you like best about the product?
I like the different features that interact with each other. I've used other programs such as Airtable and Notion but am drawn to Asana specifically for project work in collaborative settings due to its ease of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features that I use less are often due to a learning gap. I wish there were more learning capabilities such as live Zoom sessions to learn about each product update or free trainings from other users in my field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often I have trouble tracking which projects require higher level touch points. With Asana I no longer have to guess priorities and am able to share notes or comments with my team.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides various views of projects. Allows for solid reporting, and so easy to use. Implementing this tool was easy and the entire team was able to adapt to it quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding answers to questions or articles is can be time consuming, due to looking around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to distribute the workload to the different team members and how to ensure we cover all the small details within all project tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows you to work on multiple projects and to break down specific tasks. I love the portfolio view for seeing status updates and working with my team. I love that asana integrates seamlessly with google workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there were more automations. Specifically, it would be fantastic to have the ability to have a portfolio view where projects/tasks were automatically added to that portfolio. Additionally, the ability to assign a task to more than one individual would be useful for editorial review workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows us to collaborate a manage projects as a team. As a small staff, we all have multiple jobs and tasks assigned. Asana allows us to assign and manage jobs seamlessly. It greatly improves our communication and allows us to stay on track.

Great Tool to Coordinate Marketing Efforts

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to see different views of the same information, whether that's in a List format, Gantt chart, Kanban, or timeline. I also love that you can customize it to meet your specific needs. I also love the integration with Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it let you assign a task to more than one person. I also think the email notifications are a little much, but you can turn those off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me coordinate product launches with multiple stakeholder across different teams. We can input all of our tasks and see who owns what, and the filtering option makes it easier to just jump straight to a specific task or task owner.
