Streamlined Project Management with Room for UX Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to manage projects with my web developer and graphic designer, and I love being able to keep track of replies easily. Before, it was a nightmare having to go back and find emails. Now, every project update, question, or new piece of art to review can be easily followed as long as everybody comments and updates the project. I really like the ability to easily leave comments on projects and keep things organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were training modules so I can learn how to use it better. I think the left side menu organization needs to be improved. I have a hard time finding all my projects, especially if they are under different teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me track replies and keep project updates organized, eliminating the need to search through emails. I appreciate the ability to comment directly on projects, making collaboration smoother with my team.
Excellent project management software for teams of 5-20
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Asana on two public health research teams ranging from 5-20 members and find the interface to be incredibly user friendly. I find onboarding new users to be very intuitive and implementing work flows for teams of that size to work well. The ability to toggle among the various views (Gantt, calendar, Kanban) is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the messaging feature within individual tasks is one of the weaker features in Asana. It is easy to lose messages within tasks and although you can compensate for this by integrating other IM (i.e. Teams, Slack), the integrated interfaces still don't make for the smoothest transition between apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves project management and collaboration by enabling all team members to see an overview of our projects while allowing each team member to zoom into each individual member and task's scope of work.

Regarding Asana's Core Features
What do you like best about the product?
There are multiple features provided by this platform. Asana provides Project Management Feature through which projects can be easily managed by organizing tasks and tackle work together in a shared hub. They provide Custom fields so that we can sort, filter, and automatically report on work. The time tracking feature helps us to measure time spent on work
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that their limited customisation is the thing in which they should work and improve it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, it used to diffult to organize the work. By using Asana I can easily organize the work in list, calendar, timeline, Gantt chart, or Kanban board.
The right tool for teams.
What do you like best about the product?
At first, I was a bit reluctant to use Asana, but then I started to like it. A tool that is more limited than, for example, Notion, which is too free, is appreciated. You get into Asana to do just what you need and nothing more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the price, but that's what people would always say.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This section is poorly translated into Spanish just in case. The unification of projects and their statuses. It is important that everything updated in a task is in the same place. Not in the chat, not in the email, not in different task applications. One single place.
Ideal and easy for collaborating
What do you like best about the product?
It can connect different teams from a company together in one location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Might take a bit of time to get up to speed on how to use it though its not a steerp learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are setting up localisation workflows within the organisation to work with all teams that require localisation support.
Better than ClickUp!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to easily view someone's calendar and see their tasks by project. It really helps with the big picture and also to work fast. We switch from ClickUp to Asana and the switch / implementation was very easy. I'm addicted, I use it all day, everyday!
Also we had a problem with the domain (because our company works with multiple domains) and we were able to resolve our issue with the help of Garjan.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to assign multiple assignees to the same task!!! (Without duplicating the task)
I feel like this is a very basic feature missing.
I feel like this is a very basic feature missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well obviously I would no be able to view all these tasks in my head or on paper so being able to see it in a list/kanban or calendar view helps also synchronizing our team.
