Clarity in Contract Management, Needs Time Management Fix
What do you like best about the product?
I like seeing everything very clearly listed in Asana, especially the dependencies that are within it. It just helps me keep a project going because I can see all the steps very clearly and how they play into each other. The automations that they have are really nice too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that in the year in review it said it saved me a bunch of time because sometimes managing it is a lot of time. That felt like a disconnect. Sometimes I'm wondering if it actually does that. I feel like sometimes they tote AI a little bit too much. There's something about humans managing things that's nice too.

Asana helps me keep everything in the contract organized and process steps clearly, making it easier to see dependencies and manage contracts effectively.

The visibility between shared tasks is another feature I appreciate because it helps keep my deliverables on track and structure my days and projections. My own implementation of Asana was decently smooth.

Brings Structure and Visibility to Cross-Functional Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is how effectively it brings structure and visibility to cross-functional work. As someone working closely with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops, Asana helps me break down complex, ongoing initiatives into clear projects, tasks, owners, and timelines.
The flexibility of Asana is a big plus — I can use it both for long-term operational projects and day-to-day BAU requests. Features like custom fields, rules, and forms make it easy to standardize intake, prioritize work, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It has significantly reduced follow-ups and ad-hoc communication by giving all stakeholders a single source of truth.
Overall, Asana has improved accountability, transparency, and execution across teams, especially in fast-moving operational environments

What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is very strong for internal project and task management, it can feel limited when used for request or ticket-style workflows. Features like native SLA tracking, automatic acknowledgements, and ticket IDs are not built in, which means teams need to rely on workarounds using rules, custom fields, or integrations.
Additionally, managing requests coming in via email alongside form submissions can sometimes feel fragmented, especially for operational teams handling high volumes. More robust reporting around ageing tasks and SLA breaches would also be helpful for operational oversight.
That said, these are manageable gaps for many teams, and Asana continues to work well as a flexible and collaborative platform when combined with clear processes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of fragmented work management across teams by providing a single platform to track requests, projects, ownership, and timelines. Previously, work was scattered across emails, chats, and spreadsheets, making it difficult to prioritise and follow up.
By centralising work in Asana, I get clear visibility into what is being worked on, who owns it, and what is pending. This has reduced manual follow-ups, improved accountability, and helped ensure that deadlines—especially for operational and cross-functional work—are consistently met. Overall, it enables better planning, execution, and collaboration across Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops.
