Effortless Project Management and Outstanding Support with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana as a project management tool in our company and it is easy to use. I set it up for the business in just a few days. One feature that made our work easier is using Asana form and automating the tasks. Instead of going back and forth on the tasks to assign it to people, it can be automated and automatically assigned which lessens my workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. Everything the organization needs can be found in Asana, and whenever I have questions, I can easily email one of the supports, Allan Way, and he'd happily schedule a meeting with me. Simply the best!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, all the tasks were communicated on Whatsapp, Email, or calls. Now everything is in one place. We can easily see all the projects, deadlines, tasks, and even the time sheets!
Extremely User-Friendly and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely user friendly and intuitive to beginner or first time users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Asana to provide a Gantt level view for multiple projects. I had to integrate with another application for this, although it was an easy process it would be nice to have in one tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy project management and executive level views of project milestones.
Essential Task Management, But iPad View Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily assign tasks to project team members and create parking lots for tasks that anyone with capacity can complete. We can't see how we would manage without the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPad version is a little small, and I can't easily see all the details in the list views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us better manage projects and milestones. We see more tasks being completed on time and a redcutnion in project overruns,
Seamless Workflow, Exceptional Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana to be incredibly valuable for its ease of use and collaborative capabilities, which have been fundamental in managing both task and workflow systems within our company. We've been using it since around 2018 as our primary task management system, and it has grown with us as a company, transitioning from pen and paper methods to a more structured and formal system. I particularly love how Asana facilitates formal systematization for departmental meetings, with everything tracked efficiently. This has greatly benefited our teams, such as the web development and graphics team, who are utilizing it for sprint planning, web development requests, and graphic design requests. It creates a more organized and structured workflow that has been a huge difference-maker. I also appreciate the insights gained from the Asana workflow certification training, which revealed more potential uses of the software. The various dashboard views accommodate different preferences and have been extremely useful in tracking tasks, metrics, and projects. Integration with other systems like Google Workspace and Slack has further expanded its practicality by creating a seamless workflow and communication channel. Lastly, the potential for task automation and efficient project management makes Asana something I would confidently choose and recommend again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, I do wish that Asana could accommodate different tiers of user access for larger teams with varied needs, especially when considering financial feasibility. Upgrading certain team members to additional features without needing all users to have the same costly options would be beneficial. Additionally, the process of adding guest users isn't straightforward, which complicates collaboration with contractors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Asana improves our workflow by organizing meetings, tracking metrics, and forms. It enhances departmental efficiency and collaboration, streamlining task tracking and communication across teams.

I find Asana very easy to set up, especially with the helpful guides that make the process straightforward. I also appreciate its board view feature and the ability to detail each task within that board view, enhancing my project management experience. Asana has become my main task manager, and it enables me to efficiently organize work requests submitted to me, allowing me to seamlessly set up my task list. Additionally, I use Slack alongside Asana, as well as the email feature, which helps me integrate different aspects of my work. The interface layout is very easy to follow, which increases my overall productivity and satisfaction with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would change where tasks go into when you email Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to streamline task management, allowing seamless submission and organization of work requests. The board view enhances task detail clarity, and integration with Slack and email supports efficient workflow.
Keeps Tasks on Track, Easy Cleanup for Clutter
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps you updated on all your tasks, both on a daily and weekly basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product tends to get messy quite quickly, but cleaning it up is simple and straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists you in prioritizing your tasks and automatically generates a schedule for you. It also makes it easier to collaborate with other departments on various tasks.
User-Friendly Task Management, Minor Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps us keep our tasks organized. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to manage our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
For someone new to this, it can be a bit confusing at first. However, after spending some time with it, it becomes easier to use.

Seamless Integration and Motivating Features Make Asana a Standout
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate about Asana is how seamlessly it integrates with the different platforms we already use, which helps us stay organized and manage tasks more effectively. The visual cues for completed tasks and achievements are motivating, making it easy to keep track of what needs to be done. Access to the platform is user-friendly, and our experience with onboarding and implementing the system has been very positive. I also value the Asana Academy, along with the training resources and support that are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it unhelpful that, for those who aren't particularly tech-savvy, learning to use Asana can be challenging at first. However, the Academy helped resolve this issue for our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One issue that Asana has helped us address is creating a single source of data and storage. Previously, our company relied on a shared folder, which was quite disorganized. By transitioning to Asana, we can now organize and categorize all our documents more effectively, and we are also able to set due dates for documents that need regular updates.
Customizable and Efficient, But Exporting Data Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to add my own custom fields and tags, which work well together. It's simple to set up workflows that minimize the need to recreate tasks or manually mark them as 'completed.' The customizable forms are also excellent, making it easy to add new tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting information from projects can be quite a hassle. I use this tool to keep track of OHS items and meeting minutes, but when I export the data as a CSV file, I still need to manually adjust it to make it more legible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on this as my main HR ticketing platform, and I also use it to collect OHS issues, monitor when policies require updates, and track the status of our visa employees, among other tasks. Everything is conveniently managed in one place, and it’s far more than just a sophisticated Excel spreadsheet. I’m able to generate reports from it, which allows me to see how many tickets I have, which ones are closed, their sources, and the types of issues involved. It’s really effective!
User-Friendly with Great Academy, Needs Clearer Automation Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the academy of Asana and how user friendly it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downside is I would like clearer instruction on what i can automate and I would like some hands on training with my projects I've created and how i could maximize it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently we are setting individual team goals and pairing those with the innovation process. I am building out the innovation process flow and timelines
