Asana - a powerful work management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful work management (Project/Chat/History) tool. It gives anyone an excellent view of project, their progress and any conversation that may have happened among the team members related to the tasks/sub-tasks. Additionally, tasks can be grouped via phases or other customised filters in a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana may improve upon a portfolio view for various initiatives and projects which are a part of that portfolio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana gives a clear visibility to all the stakeholders. Additionally, we give customised forms to our internal clients for them to submit their requests which reflect on a project created for the respective team.
Multipurpose Work Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to understand, and the navigation is straightforward to learn. I appreciate that it can be used not only for managing projects or teams but also as a reference tool and for data analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need more control over user roles, such as restricting who can invite members to help us manage users effectively. There was an incident where an employee created an Asana account using their work email just to explore the platform. Although they were not part of the team, they were automatically included in our paid-license workspace. We hope to add a feature where an Admin must approve anyone who wants to join the Asana workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of tasks and nothing fell off the radar. Status indicator and the data analytics feature
Excellent Task Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like that every member of our company can communicate about what we have going on, despite all of us working remotely. Each team member logs on everyday to check what we need to be doing and how it is going across the company. It is a great place to centralize our projects, ask questions, and make comments on the work we are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a very small non-profit company. I wish that we could afford some of the bells and whistles in the larger packages, but I am happy with what we do have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is able to stay in constant communication about the projects we are working on.
The Team's Top Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep the teams organized, love the rules that provide automated, time-saving assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the volume of features and integrations can be overwhelming or crowd the helpful stuff. I don't want to see rule options for those items if I don't have the specific additional service or integration. I wish you could assign the same task to multiple people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep things organized, keeping a record of conversations and updates, and setting reminders for priority deliverables.
Relatively Straight Forward to Stand Up
What do you like best about the product?
Relative ease of use when setting up new projects and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Google email is pretty terrible. Never got it to work. Saw similar complaints form several others trying to integrate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
better connectivity to other apps we use. Allows us to do more with those apps while giving the client better visibility.

I like that I can use it for multiple purporses: workflows, personal workload management, project management

Some released features e.g. sync to google sheets doesn't work and it takes more than expected to fix it.

Asana can scale with my business. Easy to get started right out the box but also has many plugins I can add later

Great App!
What do you like best about the product?
This application makes it so easy for me to maintain a list of tasks that need to be completed. As a person who is in back-to-back meetings throughout the day, I must make a note of the takeaway/task from the meeting and complete it later. This app allows me to not lose sight of my responsibilities, and I can share with others the items I am working on!
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the cost, not all team members have access to Asana within my organization.

Keeping up with my to-do list.
Asana for project management and task management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to move tasks around from project to project. I'm a big fan of the collaboration tools. I also enjoy how Asana is evolving over time and adding new updates. Plus, it's aesthetic and easy to learn. Implementation is straightforward and I use this tool daily. It's just a simple and intuitive project management software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its advantages are also its weaknesses. Being so simple it lacks some advanced project management features. Some of these features I would love are dependent task modification for Gantt charts (as in, when I push the date back on one task, a toggle exists that allows me to set up Asana to push all other tasks due dates/start dates back that same amount). I don't think Asana has built-in Critical Path for Gantt charts as well, which prevents our whole team from using Asana. Finally, as far as I can tell, revision tools for reviewing images and commenting/reviewing multiple versions of an image asset are pretty limited. Maybe there's a plug-in for this, but at the moment, intensive image review details do not exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and Compartmentalization, basically allows me to envision an entire project from start to finish in an organized fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
I feel that asana is a better version of google collabs . The ui is organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that there is noting missing atm.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Random task when you start the application. I feel that it might obligateyou to worry about those task.
