Great for collab across teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can collaborate across multiple teams and multiple projects, but I can see everything I'm personally working on in my dashboard calendar view. This has been especially helpful when I don't get Asana notifications for whatever reason via my work email.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I click "complete" on a task, sometimes it shows a fun animal/rainbow creature dashing across the screen. But sometimes not. Not sure why it only does that sometimes but I miss it when it doesn't. Haha!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks and projects in collaboration with other teams that aren't logged in our typical software (Post/Wordpress). It's a great way to track the work I do so that I get credit for it while also having a place to keep things organized with cross-team projects. It's like a virtual workshop room.
Solution for Team Task and Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is simple to use but has all the features we need. It is very easy to move items around while keeping them associated with the correct person/task/project. Then viewing the items assigned to individual team members is easy from a managerial standpoint, regardless of where in Asana the individual tasks live.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would e helpful to be able to assign tasks to more than one person and not to a group. This is a small issue, but on Android devices, the widget does not work - it is blank until you start the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This functions as a centralized location to track all the task items that do not have another home. It is also a discussion board for keeping up on projects. We also use it as a workflow solution to assign out details task processes (e.g. new user creation and all the all the related tasks to complete assigned to the correct individuals)
Great for Project Management!
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could assign tasks to multiple people, especially for collaborative projects. There is not always just one lead on a project and it would be nice to have an extra person taggable there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. We are a team of 5 people and regularly have 20-50 open tasks, and Asana makes it easy to follow along and hop in where needed and expected.

Helpful customization, efficient team allocation, and high visibility
What is our primary use case?
Asana is highly beneficial for extended projects that require a strategic approach. It allows us to dissect these projects into numerous tasks and effectively prioritize them based on their deadlines. Moreover, Asana facilitates seamless collaboration across various departments, emphasizing the significance of time management and strategic thinking. Additionally, it aids in allocating resources within my team, ensuring efficient execution of the pertinent project.
What is most valuable?
Asana, despite its compact size, proves to be incredibly valuable. When initiating a project, it offers the ability to generate a personalized form for clients. In this particular context, my clients include the customer success team and solution architects. This feature allows me to provide them with a convenient means to submit their requests, resembling a ticketing system geared towards internal operations. Moreover, it enables efficient allocation within my team. For instance, if a question pertains to customer success, I can assign it to the CSOps manager and the team. Similarly, if it relates to a specific channel, it can be allocated accordingly.
Additionally, Asana allows for allocation across different projects, providing excellent visibility for customers who submit tickets. They can view timelines and prioritize projects, promoting transparency. The system revolves around offering visibility, prioritization of tasks, and effective delegation within the team. Despite its simplicity, it encompasses the creation of project forms with various rules. These rules determine assignments based on request type and submitter, as well as priority levels set by team leaders. Overall, Asana's functionality in this regard is highly advantageous.
What needs improvement?
The documentation could be enhanced by incorporating more visually informative videos that demonstrate how to accomplish specific tasks. While Asana's community support is valuable for answering questions, finding precise answers often requires sifting through multiple posts. Having concise and explanatory videos would greatly improve the user experience. When searching on platforms like Google, there are many individuals sharing their approaches to using Asana. However, the information provided is often not directly applicable to one's specific needs. Therefore, it would be advantageous to have comprehensive video tutorials that address common user queries. This would provide a more efficient and intuitive way of accessing information, especially when it comes to learning how to navigate and utilize Asana's features effectively.
Asana offers a variety of view formats that provide different levels of visibility. These include board view, list view, timeline view, and dependency view. For a single project, you can explore multiple views depending on your objectives. If you're working on a long-term project, you may prefer the timeline view to track your progress and have a macro-level overview of where you stand. On the other hand, for more granular tasks, the board view can be helpful in monitoring the progress and visualizing how things are advancing. The choice of view is not merely a feature selection but rather a decision based on the visibility it offers for your specific needs.

Stylish Kanban experience

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. I really like that it has dark-mode, which makes working at night much more acceptable. There's nothing to dislike, moving cards is as easy as pulling them from one column to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm organizing my sales pipeline by using Asana. All of my leads, meetings, and future calls are evidenced on a board, with notes and due dates set. Makes forgetting something a tough thing to do.
An exceptional task management application
What do you like best about the product?
Because of its extensive flexibility and configuration options, I absolutely love Asana. The easy-to-use, intuitive layout makes it fun to create projects with multiple milestones or tasks that can be edited on the go. The timeline feature is incredibly helpful in making sure I don't miss any deadlines, along with the ability to schedule recurring activities super quickly - which easily saves me time! While a free subscription covers some of what the paid plans offer, signing up for Pro should definitely be considered if you're looking to further customize your personal/business needs.

I have nothing negative to say about Asana; it is an exceptional piece of software with a thoughtful design that both energizes you for your tasks and gives you easy access to the tools you need. How easy it is to manage, prioritise and delegate tasks to staff. The timeline tab is handy as it perfectly portrays what and when needs to be done. Perfect for what we do

I guess one of the things i don't like about Asana so far is there isn't enough indication as to what can be integrated with the app, which would be helpful to know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and work delegations towards team mates and myself. We don't constantly need to get on zoom calls to discuss what needs to be done. This just saves us time.
