    Information Technology and Services

A powerhouse, but takes a bit to make it useful.

  • May 09, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation for basic project management. Has robust features to become a powerhouse, but like any other tool, you need to learn and deep dive into the rules and automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the downside of Asana is that if you're the only team member setting up the templates and rules and automation, teaching your team to join your workflow can be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining the ability to query ideas and create workflows for projects that help move the company's mission forward. It helps with tracking and giving a high overview of projects and if they align with the big goals.

User Friendly Project Management Tool!

  • April 25, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy as a freelancer to work with clients and streamline project management with an intuitive and easy-to-use platform.

It allowed me to cut down on searching through long email strings with clients, and manage everything directly within Asana, increasing productivity and communication.

The best feature is that it allows creation of sub-tasks to break down larger projects, as well as providing a lot of flexibility with more views than other similar tools, such as board, list, calendar, workflow, and timeline views.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can often feel a bit overwhelming at times, and like it doesn't simplify project management, but actually makes it more complicated than it needs to be. I'd also like more flexible pricing options for freelancers and small businesses, as the premium plan can be a bit steep when compared to other software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlines project management with clients while eliminating the need to send emails back and forwards. It also breaks down large-scale projects into smaller tasks and makes it easy to keep track of the status of each task. It has significantly improved communication with clients, and also helped to become more productive.

Gain efficiency with a project management plan in Asana

  • April 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like Asana for its organization and task management features. The ability to create projects with subtasks, see all of my recent tasks in one place, quickly add due dates, or find a specific project using the search bar are some of my favorite perks of using Asana. In addition, it's helpful to be able to assign ownership and track progress within each subtask, as well as keep track of every relevant detail associated with it at the same time through notes and attachments tabbed below the task bars themselves, which helps me stay organized even when faced with tight deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how Asana can be difficult to manage due to its project automation process and lack of accessibility when trying to find a specific task or feature. The iOS app offers a much more user-friendly interface with useful options in comparison - this makes for an overall positive experience that I find very rewarding. Having features that are intuitive and straightforward would help make it easier and less demoralizing for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me plan my projects more effectively and stay on top of tasks. I'm not overwhelmed any longer because neither are our employees.
