Asana is hierarchy in digital marketing

  • April 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, making it easy for all our customers who want to learn how to use the tool and start collaborating on projects effectively. Asana is designed to foster team collaboration. We were able to share tasks and projects with other team members, make comments and work together in real time. We were able to sync and integrate Asana with a wide range of popular tools and apps, such as Slack, Dropbox, Google Drive and Zapier, making it easy to sync information and automate workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of features and functionality in Asana can be overwhelming. It can take a while to learn how to use all the features and customize the tool for your specific needs. The free version has some limitations in terms of the number of users allowed, the number of integrations available, and file storage space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a robust and versatile project and task management platform that offers a wide range of features and functionality to help teams work together effectively. It has provided us with tools for resource management and project budget allocation. Asana provides us with a comprehensive platform for project management, which has allowed us teams to collaborate effectively, schedule tasks, track project progress, assign responsibilities, and track resources and budget all in one place. Thanks to Asana, we have created projects as a set of related tasks and subtasks. All our users can create and assign individual tasks within projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and comment on task progress, as well as add notes and attach relevant files to tasks.

Helps me organize my work

  • April 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me organize my tasks and keep track of what I've completed better than a to-do list. It offers a simple way to send status updates to my teammates when working on a project with multiple collaborators, which is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is most useful when everyone in the company/organization uses it. Otherwise, it becomes another gathering point for information, which can create confusion because not all the information is in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us keep track of outstanding tasks and deadlines. We are able to delegate tasks among team members and send updates as things go. This organizational tool helps us spend more time on the work itself.

Great for organising and assigning team activities

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very intuitive and rewards consistent use in work and even outside work activities. You really can keep everything in Asana and rely on it as a daily to-do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not everyone in the team wants to use Asana or shift from paper lists and post-its, then it has its limitations. Everyone in a team or project needs to "buy in" and use the tool daily to get the maximum benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration across multiple teams. Large or long projects with multiple stakeholders who may only be involved at stages while other team members are there throughout.

Great Collaboration Tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to keep many people connected on a project no matter where they are located. It helps to keep each other accountable for completing tasks on time. It allows to loop in people as needed for parts of a project that they are needed on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can take some time to get used to. We include a lot of people on different aspects of a project, and at times it can be hard to navigate to those components that are relevant to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana connects everyone on a project to allow for collaboration, assigning of tasks and deadlines. It allows for easy searching to find previous conversations and makes it easy to hold each person accountable to their roles on the project.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can keep your projects and to-do lists well organized and integrated with your team and your personal information.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't love about it is that you need to put a lot of time and effort into modeling it to your needs, and after that, it becomes incredible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping our team to be aware and has visibility of every project, and their action items and also keep track of every metric we need for that project in particular.

Asana has amazing reporting capabilities whereby our organization can truly build projects in a way that has clarity in terms of who is responsible alongside keeping everyone aligned on the trajectory of the project.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has greatly improved our team's organization and efficiency through its centralized platform for creating, assigning, and tracking tasks. The timeline view has been particularly beneficial for planning and executing our marketing campaigns and events, clearly visualizing progress and deadlines. Asana's detailed reporting and analytics capabilities have allowed us to pinpoint bottlenecks and fine-tune our workflows for better results. The custom fields feature lets us monitor crucial metrics like member retention rates, helping our team stay focused on strategic goals. Furthermore, the Asana mobile app has been indispensable for our "always-in-the-run" team members, keeping us connected and able to manage tasks from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana could ease the learning curve for new colleagues, as mastering all features can be challenging. In addition, although Asana offers various integrations, there are still a few third-party tools that are not supported, such as our CRM, HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've successfully incorporated Asana into various departments at our company, including marketing, communications, and member engagement. I rely on Asana daily to prioritize tasks and monitor deadlines, helping me focus on pressing objectives. Asana is invaluable for keeping track of my team members' progress and offering timely feedback to ensure they remain on course. Moreover, Asana has proven essential in managing complex projects like organizing large-scale events and coordinating multi-channel marketing campaigns.

It is a good tool to keep track of your tasks.

  • April 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a user, I find it helpful to see the due date of the tasks assigned to me. It is also significant that I can be reminded because there is an email notification of the task given to me and one due soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it bothering that tasks assigned to me are editable by me. I sometimes get to change the task name by accident. It would be nice if the ones assigned and not created by me were uneditable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task instructions are in one place; it is easy to track for me. It is time efficient as I don't have to send a separate message and ask about the task.
