Intuitive and Powerful, Yet Setup-Intensive
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is intuitive right out of the box. Without much training, I can use the most simple features, and it's also extremely powerful and advanced if I learn how to use all of the available features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is a little bit more involved and requires a lot more understanding of good project management and governance of how projects and tasks and business rules should be applied. Although they offer a lot of training to help you get the foundational understanding, if you're a small business owner, it may be a little daunting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage a small team and keep track of personal tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana organizes tasks, dates, and ownership in a structured manner. The various views, such as list, board, and timeline, help teams see everything and ensure that tasks are completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and automation features are limited in the lower-tier plans. Cluttered projects require proper organization, especially if there are many tasks

Asana replaces email and spreadsheets with a centralized system. It ensures accountability, no more missed deadlines, and better collaboration.

The application lacks advanced reporting and automation features in the lower plans. The application gets cluttered, especially when handling large projects, and requires proper structure, discipline, and maintenance.

It helps replace task tracking with a more organized system, ensuring that everything is done and deadlines are met. It provides a centralized system, keeping everything organized and the team on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
Having a list of tasks for each project that members of the team can view.

Getting it configured to show the fields I want for each project is time consuming.

Giving visibility to where we are in each project to multiple stakeholders without me having to send status updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is useful when you have to divide your work into smaller pieces. I like how you can easily move tasks around and how they can be grouped together, which makes it easy to monitor progress without having to think too hard about how things work. It’s more like organizing than having a complicated system.

It gets overwhelming when there are too many tasks all at once.

All the notification emails I get when I set up boards

It helps with monthly tour prep which in turns help that everything is taken care of before the tour departs

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive Asana is. It has an amazing amount of functions that work like a very well organized human brain, making it very easy to use, change, and set up. This helps automate workflows for different teams within the company and ensures that no tasks are missed. I also appreciate not having sticky notes everywhere and how brand teams can efficiently track what the e-commerce and creative teams are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
If forms could have more adaptability so that they're not dedicated to categories that would be great. If they could be utilized for multi-projects and not be so rigid with categories.

Asana automates tasks, eliminating sticky notes, and helps brand teams stay informed. It's intuitive, making it easy to set up and use.
