Feeling on Top of Things!
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how Asana makes managing our work/workflows very easy. We enjoyed taking the steps of many of our processes to build workflows. We all know who is doing what and don't have to worry that a task/subtasks will be left out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana does not support the resource management part of the project, making it difficult (or impossible) to account for them within a project. We have to use outside tools for this but we would love that visibility inside Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cross-functional teams and it is crucial that we are always aware of what things must be done by what person and by what date. Asana makes tracking and communications very simple for us.
Asana is an effective tool for managing projects and tasks!
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Asana is a fantastic tool that has dramatically improved my work! I appreciate the range of features that Asana offers- it's helped me become much more organized and efficient in my career. In particular, I love the ability to keep track of all my current projects using this tool, set deadlines, and track my progress. Additionally, the calendar and board views are both super helpful for visualizing tasks and managing collaboration with team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a business owner and independent contractor, I occasionally have clients who request that I take over their tasks completely. However, there is no straightforward method to do so in Asana. I discovered in the typically informed Asana forums that another company's services provide the needed feature; however, Asana does not currently support this third-party service nor does it plan to do so shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a project management tool that helps teams to collaborate better on long-term projects. With its features, such as task lists, calendars, and reminders, everyone involved in the project can stay organized and on track. This way, potential problems are spotted early on and dealt with before they cause any significant delays or setbacks.
Asana: The best program for regulating processes in project management
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is that it's simple and non-technical. It's easy to set up projects, tasks, and subtasks and assign team members to them. This makes it easy to produce detailed progress reports for various projects and tasks. And because Asana is very customizable, you can make it work for you instead of the other way around. Try automating some of the more tedious tasks with Asana when they start irritating you - the application is upgraded monthly, so improvements are constantly being made!
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to using Asana is that it doesn't support assigning work to a large group of individuals very well. Also, if you have many tasks to complete and need to move on to the next one, you must return to the previous one before starting the new one. This can take up considerable time, especially if you're under duress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Asana tool offers users a way to see how much progress is being made on a project and when deadlines are approaching. This helps prevent projects from getting bogged down and makes it easier to spot potential issues early on.
No Longer Intimated by Project Management Apps
What do you like best about the product?
For the past two years, I have tried out several tools to manage my tasks, but I have always reverted to Asana. I am in awe at how powerful it has been, yet it is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My assistant really likes Gantt charts; however, this feature is behind the paywall in Asana. But I do understand that Asana has to make a profit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because our team is a mix of employees, contractors, volunteers and consultants, many tasks would fall through the cracks. Too many emails (and someone revelant often gets left off the distribution list), telephone calls, text messages--all means of communication--but nothing was syncing well.
One of the BIG problems Asana solves for us is project team communications. For every task that has work to be done, everyone is required to input all communications directly inside those tasks in Asana. With this feature, everyone on the team can see the status of what needs to be completed and make decisions quickly. And a big plus: Our project meetings are now less frequent and much shorter.

Good project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The Goals feature helped our organization to align the business goals with the daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Subtasks could not be pulled into reports. It will be better to have the option to include subtasks or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing projects and workflows
Asana is great for keeping track of projects and own tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration in asana goes super smooth, it increases visibility to other teams and is easier to keep track of projects.
Also, for personal tasks it is quite useful as you can add them from multiple places as email, teams, apps, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the access restrictions in Asana still need to improve. Sometimes is hard to have visibility of who can see what. For example, personal tasks are hard to share with manager and colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with multiple stakeholder and with multiple initiatives at the same time is complex and easy to get lost. Asana allows you to keep track of everything and see how other projects are going.
A Must for my Business
What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana as our Business Hub. We are able to centralize our operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though I am a tech guru, the people on my team are not. They have all found Asana to be easy to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is key in preventing things from falling through the cracks.
I would recommend Asana to a colleague!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is best for cross-functional collaboration and project management. I like it particularly when working with large teams within my organization, especially when deadlines are a concern. Absolutely would recommend asana to a colleague, which is why I titled my review that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the complex options Asana provides for organizing projects. I find it confusing. I'm not sure how to make use of features like Portfolios and goals, in particular. There are other things that I dislike about Asana but in transparency I can't think of any at this time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me stay on top of my tasks within larger initiatives and helps me wrangle collaborators for my initiatives. It's great when extra visibility is necessary for complex projects. Problems that result from a large and quickly scaling organization are really those problems that Asana is solving for us.
Asana's great

Subtasks can get very chaotic - they're a rabbit hold and I've asked our team to avoid them entirely

A great project management software

Asana helps manage projects and communicate with customers and freelancers involved in a project.
