Great for managing timelines and tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana mostly to manage my personal to-do list, and I love using the calendar view to adjust my timelines and prioities shift. It keeps be flexible but always on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has more functionality than I need honestly, would love to explore it more, but it works great in the way I use it now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is my external brain and keeps track of everything that would otherwise keep me up as a runnign list in my head at night.
Perfect for Remote Assistants
What do you like best about the product?
I am a lawyer, sole-practitioner who does trial work. I accept work on a case-by-case basis. I lost my long-time assistant and in searching for a replacement I only needed a part-time person and they could be remote. However it is hard to monitor what is going on and what needs to be done when I have many pending cases. I looked and researched and tried Asana. It was a good choice. I don't use most of what Asana can do. But every time I open a case, I open it as a project and put in calendar dates and then tasks for me and my assistant. While I do the same, she gets her tasks and marks them as complete. I can keep up with everything my assistant is doing or has done. It is perfect for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a downside to Asana, but my requirements are not very demanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the problem of remotely communicating tasks and keeping up with when they are completed.
The best and easiest to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple the tool is, it is easy to use and very intuitive. You can begin using it right away and collab rating with others
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, so far I like everything about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to create and execute projects. The software makes it easy to collaborate and assign tasks to others.
The Best Tool for Staying Organized
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been integral in managing my to-do list, my projects, and communicating with my team on projects. Getting notified of upcoming deadlines has helped me stay on track and complete tasks on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike about Asana yet, and I've been using it for about 8 years now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have team members who live in different states, but we need to communicate about ongoing projects. Asana has helped us all stay in communication about our blogs, it has allowed us to stay organized and hit deadlines. I simply set up our blog calendar each month and then set up subtasks for each team member and assign due dates. We keep all of our communication within Asana so it's all in one place rather than having several email chains going about several different blogs. We can now see at which stage each blog is in easily.
Extremely Useful Software for Project and Team Management
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly. The software is intuitive, and new team members can easily join and understand our workflows. The software is routinely updated and new features are consistently added. We don't find ourselves wanting for anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
More customization within workflows could be helpful sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our entire team to collaborate. It allows us to track projects, see where we are with things, and ensure we are meeting our deadlines. It would be impossible for us to work without Asana.
Magical Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn the "physics" of the application, the project world in your oyster. The user interface and features offer wonderful methods of strengthening team collaboration, accountability, and internal processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take time and committment to learn such "physics" to create what you and your team(s) needs for project/product management.
The Asana Academy is extremely helpful for this, and offer courses that are digestable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work visibility across departments. My organization incorporated Asana when we came back from the pandemic. There were many new faces from various distances, and all-staff meetings weren't the same. It was hard to understand and respect team workloads in a remote-turned-hybrid arrangement. Asana helps as a one-stop application where tasks, projects, progress, etc. are readily available across the organization.
Asana - Great for Getting Tasks and Projects Done
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative feature, I love that you can assign yourself and colleagues tasks to complete with dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more people could collaborate on a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps my colleagues and I start a project together and stay on track.
Fully Customizable and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very user friendly and accomodates both the tech savvy as well as the uh...PC illiterate?
I use the web version and cannot attest to the app however in my experience these are some of the highlights:
*Simple Interface
*Fully Customizable
*Easy to Learn (plenty of tips and suggestions if you're unsure what to do)
*Great for local AND long distance collaboration

What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint has more to do with my organization than the application itself.
There's so many more available features than I actually use. But that's not to say that I don't think we should be using them. BUT it would be nice to "Hide" certain parts of Asana as to declutter the interface.

We're spread out all over the US and Asana helps us collaborate like everyone is just in the office next door.
Game changer for organization!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has helped our organization be more efficient and productive with our time. We spend less time searching for things because we have it organized in projects for each of our teams. With the due date feature, we are able to stay on track with what needs to be accomplished. We also have more visibility into what are teams are up to, how work is progressing, and when we need to step in and help get something to the finish line. The ability for our employees to collaborate is also a major benefit. It's all organized into one location - no more conversations hidden in private chats! I also love that they are constantly providing updates and rolling out new and useful features. Asana has definitely become a staple in our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it was a little more affordable for small businesses. However, we are still going to pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we had before is work being in too many places and not always having the visibility we needed to get work done.
Returning to Asana after a 7 year break
What do you like best about the product?
Newly returning to Asana after a 7 year break, has shown me I should never have given up on Asana. I was feeling overwhelmed by the amount of tasks, projects and to do and Asana has been a great way to manage these and ease of implementing Asana and using the boards was not only fun but incredibly helpful to me. Currently I am using Asana most days and am trying to encourage my team to start using Asana too
What do you dislike about the product?
What do I dislike about Asana? At present it's that I am not using Asana to its fully capablity and my team are yet to fully "jump on board" with Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been a singular place to capture all of my to do's, projects, tasks and we have just recently statement to run our weekly accounts reporting through Asana. The benefit to me has been my sense of anxiety of forgetting "things" is reducing.
