Building cross functional workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Creating rules to move tasks once completed, keeping track of tasks for projects, being able to set deadlines, and assigning a task to someone.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be complicated to setup projects and how they work with workflows. Once you get the hang of it, it's much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to keep my projects and tasks organized and setting timelines helps to make sure work is completed on time and within budget.
Clarifying and organizing your actionable tasks
What do you like best about the product?
From mapping out massive year-long projects to organizing and clarifying my daily tasks, Asana is a huge help. I also value their forms feature. This helps me orgnize requests as they come in; nothing gets lost.
Their training acadamy was very helpful, more so then the set up calls. And It was easy to find support when I needed it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would offer API for business members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Per the client, we have 231 different projects and tasks that have to be done for them every year on top of the daily fires that arise and need our team's attention. Asana helps us standardize them across all our teams so that our client's needs never fall through the cracks. It also helps our management with a bird's eye view of what's going on, where we are on those projects, and what team members have to much on their plate.
A solid project management software that's missing a few key features
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to make and edit templates, and it dramatically improves communication and visibility across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to use task durations, instead of days relative to the due date, when making templates. I can do the math, but it's an otherwise common feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep track of the various tasks and stakeholders when making new Service Descriptions go live. A lot of the tasks of any give project belong to me, but it's nice to look and see what I need to do at any given time.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is the ability to manage my projects in one space with plenty of room for notes, links, updates, messaging to others, and organizational features such as grouping projects and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a fairly easy learning curve with Asana; the one thing that is hard for me is to remember to use it consistently. Also -- I dont think there is a phone app? I'm not sure about that. If there is, I need to try it out. If there isn't, then it would be helpful to have one. I just need to find out if there is a phone app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in a curriculum and development team and it is really helpful to track tasks and projects, when we remember to use it! The problems that are solved by Asana is having a clear schedule for the different parts of the projects and their due dates. It's a lot better than my using sticky notes in a notebook!

Organized Task List
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different options for organizing (calendar, list, board, etc.) and that it allows me to collaborate & work on my own individual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications all get the same level of urgency even if it's not a prioritized task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team members collaborating on tasks that involve multiple departments.
Essential Tool for Event Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Asana as my living to-do list. The ability to add sections is a feature I appreciate, and I love that all communications and materials for a task are kept together. It's pretty straightforward to use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to duplicate a task and mark everything as incomplete AND to be able to add a new date and have Asana update the due dates for that new event date.

I use Asana for event management, helping me collaborate across and within teams, and keep track of details.

The ability to customize and separate project building that keeps my team connected.

The restrictions with rule implementation.

Rule limitations, there have been updates to how we can use rules that has been effective for our teams' use.
