Best Tool for Keeping Ownership Perfectly Organized.

  • March 31, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is good for keeping tasks, timelines, and owner information well-structured and organized in a single place. The board, list, and timeline views are good for managing different types of work based on the team’s needs. This helps in tracking and keeping everyone aware of what needs to be done and by whom, which is helpful in avoiding confusion during task execution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting feature is not so strong for basic plans and needs to be upgraded to a high-tier plan for better reporting capabilities. The automation capabilities are not very strong compared to other tools. The tool also gets messy if not well-organized due to a high number of tasks and lack of proper tagging and organization of workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps in avoiding the tracking of multiple tasks and work information in emails, chats, and spreadsheets by keeping all information in a single place and a single workflow. Babul jhnt This helps in better tracking and keeping everyone aware of the work being done and helps in better coordination among team members.

Boosts Coordination but Challenging to Onboard

  • March 31, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana keeps me up to date with my desk and tasks, which is really valuable in my role as a program manager. It effectively assists me in coordinating with all my team members on the different programs we're running. Asana's features allow me to send updates and keep track of the programs my team members coordinate as collaborators.
What do you dislike about the product?
The swiftness of gelling with the platform. Even though there are videos that guide, sometimes you don't have time to go lesson by lesson. When we onboarded Asana, we joined the training, but some members were not quick to go back and maybe rewatch the videos. It would help if there was a prompt that notices underutilization of certain aspects of the tool and suggests videos to help optimize its use. The setup wasn't plug and play as it should be easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves coordination challenges, improves tracking of activities, and allows us to report timely by viewing and addressing issues early.

Asana a perfect tool for tracking Tasks and Deadlines.

  • March 31, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great at keeping everything related to tasks, deadlines, and ownership well organized. It is very easy to understand the current status of the task with the list and timeline views.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced features such as reporting and workflow automation are limited on the lower plans. It can get cluttered if the project is large and not well structured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replaces the current way of tracking everything with a centralized task control. It is helpful in avoiding missed deadlines and keeping the team on the same page with the project execution.

Asana Became the Operational Backbone of Our Agency

  • March 31, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become the operational backbone of our agency. For a small creative team managing 10+ active client accounts across video production, content strategy, and brand management, having a centralized task system with clear ownership and deadlines has been transformative. The project template functionality lets us spin up new client onboards fast with a repeatable structure, and the timeline view gives us visibility across overlapping production schedules — which is critical when we're juggling shoots, edit cycles, and content calendars simultaneously. It's also been key for keeping our pipeline organized as we've scaled from a solo operation to a five-person team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for newer team members is steeper than it should be — getting contractors and part-time collaborators comfortable with Asana's project structures, custom fields, and views takes real onboarding time, which is a cost for a small agency that brings people on fast. The mobile app also feels limited compared to desktop; when I'm on set or between shoots, I want to quickly reassign or update tasks and the mobile experience feels clunky. I also wish there was a dedicated chat or messaging feature built into Asana — right now team communication lives in task comments, which buries conversations inside individual tasks and makes it hard to have broader project-level or team-wide discussions without jumping to Slack or text threads. The integration between Asana and tools like Google Drive and Frame.io could also be deeper — it's more of a link-drop than a true two-way sync, so we still end up bouncing between platforms to track deliverable status. For the price point, the reporting and dashboard features on the Business tier feel like they should offer more customization out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, our project management was scattered across group texts, Google Drive folders, and mental checklists — which barely worked when it was just me, but completely broke down once I started bringing on editors, a content strategist, and client-facing team members. Tasks would slip, deliverables would get lost between shoots and edit cycles, and I was the bottleneck for every status update. Since implementing Asana, we've been able to run 10+ active client accounts simultaneously across video production, content strategy, and brand management without things falling through the cracks. Every shoot, edit round, and content calendar has clear ownership and deadlines, which means I'm spending less time chasing updates and more time on creative direction — which is where I actually add value. It's also made onboarding new contractors dramatically faster because the project templates and task structures speak for themselves instead of requiring me to walk someone through everything from scratch. For a small agency that scaled from one person to a five-person team in under two years, Asana is the reason that growth didn't come with operational chaos.

Custom Workflows Elevate Task Management

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI tool in Asana that allows us to create custom workflows and build projects from document uploads. It's really handy that we can upload our pre-built documents and spreadsheets to the AI and have it build custom projects for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Asana had better integrations with Egnyte, a larger file upload limit, and the capability to tie a form to existing tasks rather than creating a new task for each submission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Asana streamlines communication and reminders for complex workflows.

User-Friendly Asana That Makes Even Mundane Tasks Fun

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very user friendly and offers tutorials on how to structure it to best fit your needs. It's integration with other programs like Gmail is very helpful. Also, the "delight" feature is one of my teams' favorite things about the platform. It makes checking off even the most mundane tasks fun and rewarding!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many features that it takes a time investment in the tutorials to really be able to use it to it's fullest potential, a goal I have not yet reached. I don't necessarily dislike this, it is just an investment in time that has to be made to get the most from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my team organize project management to help keep everyone on the same page. It assists greatly in communicating needs and deliverables and details for clarity.

Great for Organization, Needs Customization

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana because of its reminders and visuals, which help me stay organized. I also find the links with our Slack systems and email very useful, as they make it easier for employees to stay on top of assigned tasks and keep deadlines. The initial setup of Asana was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a lot of customization needed on the front end for full adoption. The initial setup was easy, however quickly discovered that we needed more customization based on nuances of the organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana's dashboard views, timelines, reminders, and visuals, along with Slack and email integration, help us manage workflows and ensure team members stay on task and meet deadlines.

Simplifies Busy Marketing Workflows with Clear Goals and Progress Tracking

  • March 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It simplifies my busy, complex days as a digital marketing director. I can clearly see my goals and tasks, and track progress and performance in a way that helps me stay on top of everything I manage day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see more robust, clearly visible pricing options for teams of one, with the details presented in a more straightforward way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I first reached out to support to find a solution for something, the person I spoke with wasn’t able to help me. However, once I decided to cancel my account, someone else reached out, worked through the issue with me, and I ultimately got the outcome I needed.
