A Great Product with Lot of Features for Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the integrations and continued development orientation by the team Asana. Connecting my workflow with outside 3rd party apps is much easier in Asana as other apps also support it. It's superficial but very deep inside. Managing projects and my activities is something I love to do. If there were any lifetime deals on Appsumo, I would grab it immediately!
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly it has a slightly higher learning curve when compared with its competitors, which can be compensated with good training videos and free certification by Asana. I appreciate the Asana Academy, but there should be courses on different aspects of using it (project managers, daily routine use, productive powerhouse, bloggers and marketers). Unlimited guests are not in the free tier, a significant limitation for free users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A To-do list is the first go toward managing my tasks and activities.
Managing my team and client activity is another great role of Asana in my workflow.
Other 3rd party apps are super-willing to connect to Asana, and I can find Asana in their integrations.

I used asana with my current organisation and found it to be very easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about asana is that it offers a free to use plan which has very powerful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit difficult to work with on their mobile app as compared to their website. Also the emails from asana are very frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier our team used to work with google sheets for managing tasks which was not very good. Now they switched to asana and it is very helpful.
Great management tool, but costly as the team grows.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use & integrates well with other solutions - Google, Slack, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing option doesn't offer much savings for scale
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of projects between internal teams & external agencies.
Manage your work & personal life
What do you like best about the product?
Asana continues to release new features to further expand its product and makes improvements as necessary. What I've appreciated the most about Asana is that it has a very active community in the Asana Community Forum with so many great people that help find solutions to common problems and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way teams and projects are laid out could be expanded in my opinion. It would be great to be able to go an additional layer and have the ability to create sub-teams, sub-projects, and sub-sections. Asana also can't let end-users with the same company domain act as "guests." This has limitations as it then requires everyone that needs to contribute to a project to have a license which can be expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has made tracking project work more visible and transparent. Through the use of rules, status updates, and workflows, I've been able to automate some of my work which gives me time back and allows me to focus on other priorities.
All projects and tasks in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Asana is the portfolios, which I use to manage all my projects in a single location. I have complete insight into the current status of the project and any processes involving teamwork that I am responsible for as a supervisor. Another benefit of Asana is the ease with which my team and I can communicate, coordinate our efforts, and monitor each other's progress and responsibilities. Besides, I like that you can begin with a template and save your modifications to it. Asana's extensive library of project templates allows me to tailor my workflow to the specific requirements of each project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's lack of a time tracking feature has been a significant source of frustration for me. Without time tracking software, monitoring time spent on a project is challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a result of Asana, I can now initiate projects with significantly less effort and stress. Asana offers a variety of template types and project status updates. With Asana, it is now possible to predict when tasks will be completed, which was previously impossible.
Amazing control over the project
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is undoubtedly one of the best project management applications available. Significantly, the project timeline is flexible, so I never have to worry about being late. Doing new projects, establishing milestones, and monitoring the progress of existing projects are simple. Before committing to a paid plan, the service offers a free tier with various useful features and tools for users to evaluate. There is considerable room for adaptation and customization. The group's capacity to collaborate on multiple projects is also improved. The ability to schedule recurring tasks is beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana does not integrate well with other productivity tools, so if you're trying to use it in conjunction with others, it may not work as smoothly as you'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it to monitor the progress of our development team. We divide the board into sections for each department and post their weekly and daily tasks so everyone knows what is happening.
Asana more effective teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is my favorite project management tool for several reasons. Firstly, the community of users is fantastic. There's always someone online who can help you with a query or problem, and the activity level means that answers and solutions to common issues are easy to find. Secondly, Asana is very simple to use compared to similarly complex rivals; this makes it ideal for small businesses or teams who don't need extensive customization options. Finally, the knowledge base on Asana's website is comprehensive and well-organized, making it straightforward to find information on how to use all aspects of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is that I have had app crashes while using it on an Android phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am primarily responsible for marketing, employee training, and the creation of technical products. One advantage is that my entire team now has easy access to a centralized repository of all the frequently used data.
Nice tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
You can make a task dependent from another one or blocking.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to set a task progressive (e.g. with other tools like ClickUp I checked the status of a task "open", "reviewed by X", "reviewed by Y", "closed").
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot the teamwork in the era of smartworking.
A Great Solution for Organizing Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It has been one of the most user-friendly project management apps out right now. It is extremely simple to understand, deploy, and onboard new team members and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its conversation component is not user-friendly enough for a quick conversation in a large group. When everything is being handled, it is preferable to have easy access to a chat box. Although Asana is free for personal usage, the upgraded version has many more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to simplify my work routine, making it faster and easier to plan tasks. It's simple to move tasks to various days. I can also set subtasks and repeating tasks that must be done on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
