Easy to use and helpful tool for managing projects

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps us easily create and track service requests. The simple design makes it very user-friendly, which makes it essential for our remote organization's communication and project management needs. Additionally, the workflow builder automates a lot of tedious tasks that would normally be done manually (which actually puts it above any other similar app). Being able to see everything on a calendar or timeline has also been incredibly helpful in keeping me productive by letting me know where I'm spending my time wisely (or not so wisely!)
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're not familiar with Asana, it can be difficult to get started. The user interface isn't the most intuitive and there's a lot of functionality that may not be immediately apparent
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a great project management tool that helps keep our team organized and on track. It's simple to use and keeps everything relevant to the task at hand.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a good design and a simple interface. Additionally, it has an app, which really makes it compatible with whatever device you might own. In addition, it includes all the tools you require for accurate project monitoring, such as task cards and checklists.
What do you dislike about the product?
In essence, the app can do virtually anything, and it is also the one drawback I can think of: if you are simply looking for one specific feature, like checklists, there are easier options out there serving this exact purpose like to-do. It may also become rather messy or difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can monitor the overall status of my project and the progress made within it, keeping everything on schedule with the help of checklists, working with my coworkers (and adding them to tasks), deadlines, etc. in one location.

What do you like best about the product?
Traceability, documentation, visual representations/dashboards, collaboration, templates, portfolios
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily dislikes, but I think there's a lot of product improvements that could be implemented to enhance the tool as it is being used now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding team's bandwidth, organizing work, acting as a single source of truth platform

What do you like best about the product?
How easy on the eyes their boards and dashboard are. Their graphics and ease make it extremely easy to use. Designing workflows around projects also helps to streamline effectiveness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their goals section for Enterprise users needs a little bit of work. You can get lost in all the sub-goals and it's also hard to export reports on each goal to show it board meetings and such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the communication around projects and teams that are involved in projects. Instead of communications getting lost in emails, it's all inside of Asana.

What do you like best about the product?
Custom fields - the level of customization that is able to create for how your project/team works, able to track/document what is needed.
Task templates - creating best practices, document process, able to assign relative due dates, automatically assign people
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to lock down who can edit task templates, causes people to be able to adjust something without fully knowing the implications.
Inability to apply a task template to an existing project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the fact that so much time is spent on discussing work instead of actually completing work. The centralized place for information has been a game changer for keeping the team on the same page with updates and outstanding questions.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy personalization of your own Boards. Linking tasks to different boards and projects. Asana is intuitive which makes onboarding in Asana easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time tracking in asana is insufficient. It is not possible to simply add time, every time you want to track an hour you have to rewrite the whole time. Employees don´t use the time tracking tool because of this which makes it overall complicated to to proper project controlling.
Also it is very annoying that for one task you cannot add time for different people to one task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it possible to communicate well in tasks themselves and those communications are not lost so even after months you can revisit a done task to then reevaluate the comments in those tasks and the added documents or links. Those are not lost like they are in slack sometimes so it helps to save the notes on tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great project management tool. It's easy to use and learning its features is a quick process. The platform's flexibility means it's also easy to change how you manage projects if you decide your current methods aren't quite working.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the premium features aren't available for a long enough free trial period to determine how well they might work in my current workflow. Premium pricing isn't quite in my small business budget at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped me better manage deadlines for project tasks. I have added the My Tasks calendar to my work calendar to ensure I see all upcoming deadlines in one quick look.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and how easy it is to learn all the specifications on your own or by tapping into the widely used Community Forum
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no public roadmap, which causes confusion and grief for it's users. As a Forum Leader, it does not bother me as much, but it would be helpful to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clutter, confusion, inefficiency. This helps my team stay on task without having to ask so many questions: where things are, how much time is needed, etc

Quickly share information within organization.

What do you like best about the product?
With the assistance of Asana, I can quickly and easily share information within my organization and delegate tasks. On day one, Asana will get you where you want to go, and on day two, you will be able to use most of Asana's features. It requires no initial knowledge and allows for as much exploration as desired. Workflows can be automated by configuring various triggers or actions, such as automatically emailing or texting coworkers about an upcoming appointment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The designers of Asana can make the application more space-efficient by removing the top panel. Unfortunately, I cannot transfer files from Asana to my computer via dragging and dropping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the pandemic, collecting, monitoring, sharing, and making available tasks/updates/data is necessary. Asana meets our company cybersecurity rules, so our information security is guaranteed. Attaching files from cloud storage services such as Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox ensures everyone is on the same page.
