An excellent tool for increasing productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been an excellent tool for our team to keep track of tasks and projects. It is user-friendly and efficient. I like that you can create different "workspaces" for each project you're working on and then invite specific people to join those workspaces. This makes it easy to categorize work and avoid confusion. Asana also allows you to set deadlines and due dates, which is extremely helpful in keeping everyone on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to use all of the features and create an efficient workflow can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps when data is missing or when there are multiple communication failures. I have seen the value in being able to find answers to questions, necessary access files, and information on events.
Asana can keep your team on track if you are looking for a task management tool.
What do you like best about the product?
It can create a space of truth to consolidate project information. And it is very customizable to your specific workflow. And it allows you to organize work across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need the whole team to update their tickets and contribute to keeping the boards clean / up to date. It's not something one teammate can do all on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts all types of information in one place. You can make your instance customized to your needs. And they are constantly providing new updates to the tool if there's some functionality you want in the future.

Easy navigation, ability to customize boards for the specific needs of me and team

So far I haven't seen any strong disadvantages that I can mention

It helps us to track specific issues. We used it as a database/board where we collect things for the reports

Asana has an aesthetic, organized and colorful look and feels that allows me to manage my custom tasks to send to the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a time and budget option and does not allow me to see the status of the account or project so I have had to do it independently from the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is quite easy to implement and the whole team has been able to adapt to its use effectively improving the way we have been using it these last months avoiding many tasks being lost or diverted. It is quite functional software because it has all the tools that fit each department in our company and its variety of functions allows us to keep proper control over what has been previously planned, sending us alerts and allowing us to tag users, creating a window that allows us to chat and talk directly with them about some problem that has arisen.

Resource planning need some improvements.

Project management and task management is good, it's benefits you to keep track of each and every task.

Great software that makes communication easy
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool for our team, and it has become even more popular because it is so simple and effective. The Gmail add-on is a great example of how useful external integrations can be, it helps reduce the chances of having duplicate tasks. Categorizing projects by their functional areas are also very helpful, as it allows us to see our overall progress more clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting fields and modifying theme colors should be possible. An easier way to display previously hidden timelines would be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our support and development teams use it daily to track tickets. Examples include bug reports, feature requests, and quality assurance checks. It assists us in assessing our workflow and preparing for future steps.
Simplifies task management with minimum hassles
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is highly logical and intuitive. It supports the creation of multiple projects with easily understandable flows for transferring ownership and updating status. It also supports easy integration with most other tech stacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to Asana is that only one person can be assigned as the owner and there is a dependency on them to push the task forward. There also doesn't seem to be a time tracking mechanism.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Current org doesn't use Asana, but in my previous organizations it was our in-house task management tool. It helped us efficiently create and assign tasks, monitor progress and have a 360 degree view of different projects within the organization.
Great for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Managing different requirements and their priorities at single place. We can get a bird view of all the tasks needed to be done. Everything is tracked and all the stackholders are informed all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little learning curve as there are lots of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is trying to streamline projects. That's what I feel. We have benefited a lot from tracking and prioritising the tasks and keeping the stack holders informed. This decreases the friction between product and tech team too.

Webapp could be interactive so it will be easier for any non tech people

Anyone can easily manage there task and track progress from Asana so definitely it will be a good solution for task management and project management
