Popular platform for work management
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to use, but it also has advanced features to help organize your work better, although you need to pay for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard could be more customizable. They could have free version with more available features for small groups, because for small companies it's expensive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize our work better, assign people different tasks, and make integrations and notifications.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana being very helpful in managing project flow and integrate and coordinate the team activities. It helps the real time tracking of the project status. Overall look and feel is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a project management software, it would have some customised actions to generate profile specific templates for the project flow and actions made to the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In an agile platform, sometimes it is difficult to track the realtime status if tasks. Also it is difficult to coordinate different tasks from different phases of the project. Asana helps to overcome such issues with their rich features

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's visibility and customization capabilities. In the financial services industry, projects are often complex, with multiple teams (development, compliance, legal) and strict deadlines. The Board View allows me to see the status of each task at a glance, while the List and Timeline views are perfect for planning and tracking dependencies between technical and regulatory tasks. The ability to create custom fields to tag tasks (e.g., 'Compliance Requirement,' 'Legal Review') is crucial to our workflow, allowing us to efficiently filter and prioritize.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the interface is clean, I think cross-project dependency management could be more robust. For large, cross-functional projects, such as a system integration, tracking task interdependencies between different projects can sometimes become a bit cumbersome. While the feature exists, the interface sometimes feels less intuitive compared to managing dependencies within a single project. I wish there were a simpler, more visual way to see the full picture of interconnected projects.

Asana helps us solve two key problems in our field: a lack of transparency in workflows and fragmented communication. Previously, projects were managed through emails and spreadsheets, leading to duplication of effort, missed deadlines, and almost zero visibility.

Centralized communication: All information, from technical requirements to QA team feedback, is in one place. This reduces the need for unnecessary meetings and ensures everyone is aligned.
Traceability and auditability: In the financial sector, the ability to track every decision and change is vital. Asana creates a record of every action, making audits and regulatory compliance easier for us.
Visibility into progress: I can see the development teams' progress, bottlenecks, and dependencies in real time, allowing me to proactively intervene and adjust resources to meet our goals.

Asana is very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The possibilities of Asana are nearly endless, in regards to applicant tracking and profiling. A sleek design and overall functionality that just works. Feels like a breeze when using it, though it takes some time to get used to it and you might make some mistakes while learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least likable thing about the Asana software is the servers do tend to go down for some time and your work might get prolonged. They do this to put updates in and it only takes a short time so not much to complain about there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to track candidates. The built-in features allow for easy communication and tagging of outside links or colleagues in the software cloud itself. Really useful functions.

Depending on the company niche, Asana may make or break your company.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's intelligent interface helps me break down projects based on timeline and people so I can quickly identify the bottlenecks in my work process to solve the problem and get my project on track faster. Its automation feature is also a life saver. I can avoid micromanaging things, and my team also has a clearer view of where the project is going.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana tried to put everything accessible from the mobile app. Which makes it a bit clumsy. I think they should spend more time to come with an option to let us customize what we want to see in the mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use excel to manage my projects. It offers collaboration from team members but soon becomes unmanageable as our client number grows. Asana made all these go away by streamlining our workflow. Email notifications get in the way but nothing proper filtering can't fix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work for an organization where you need to monitor new projects constantly, then Asana could be a great choice. But for simpler workflows, Asana might feel a bit costly. Asana's billing doesn't offer much freedom when customizing your team size either.
