Added efficiency and streamlining of processes
What do you like best about the product?
Improved work organization, reduced silos/increased cross-team collaboration, documentation/improvement of processes, clear communication around projects, tasks, and due dates...among others!
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Asana to be somewhat limited in how workflows can be customized and automated. Some workflows need to be adapted to Asana rather than vice versa, which can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of progress and clarity around timelines. This has helped me in my communication with external stakeholders that I can back up with data (custom reports).
Good Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, the UX of Asana is very clean, and our team enjoys using the platform. We like the functionality of portfolios, projects, etc. Overall the platform is a good mix of customization while also working well out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two significant features that are underutilized by our team are reporting and templates. Overall the templating feature could be more robust. I'd also say the workflows are a little confusing to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize asana to make sure our teams are aligned internally and tasks aren't getting missed. Additionally, we can assign work and discuss to make sure our teams are properly completing.
Asana has been extremely beneficial to our workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part is keeping everything our team needs in one single place and being able to stay on top of everyone's schedules including my own. This has proven to keep everyone on top of their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everyone at our company uses Asana in a different way and there is almost a little too many options of different workflows for this program so it can be difficult to set a SOP at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping me solve having to deal with a ton of different clients while also being able to stay on top of all of these while learning more and more about Asana.
Asana is extremely user-friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use, many support materials are available for users, and there are many ways to do similar tasks. I'm constantly learning new tips and tricks about better building projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve coming from other PM systems, but I'm glad to have made the switch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily capture any small tasks that get requested through email; it's also easy to adjust deadlines or swap assignees
A great collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the colors and the way the company introduced the AI for a better, intuitive organization and workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana ins't intuitive to use; however, after trying Clickup, I can say that Asana is way better for beginners. Also, the website is taking longer to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is excellent for making OKRs, project management, and sharing media easily with your coworkers. I cannot complain about this tool because is good for making your day by day easily, however, I think Asana should share more information about its features and how to use them properly.
Complete, easy to use and good looking
What do you like best about the product?
Asana works great as a visually organizing task managing software that you dont need to install. It has beautiful animations and clean interface that appeals to all users
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model makes it difficult to consider for upgrading, specially on a very crowded space of other alternatives. Also integrations are great but need to expand to a more complete tracking of time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we can follow task updates in real time and organize projects in an easy way. Also asana has great compatibility with gantt platforms to make gantt tracking in real time a possibility
Neat, comprehensive task manager and collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the "centralness" of information between myself and my collaborators. It helps us keep tabs on the status of our many projects and acts as a convenient depository of important files and links.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its alerts can be overwhelming, and its user interface can get in the way of easily creating projects from templates at times. Also, I'd like Asana to warn me that notifications are duplicated when I'm creating projects from templates or duplicates. It's happened that people I hadn't intended to tag for a new project were blitzed with email alerts when I created a new project based on an existing comparable project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me collaborate easily with all my collaborators. My function requires me to work across multiple disciplines all the time, and Asana helps us all keep each other up to date and on track.
Feeling on Top of Things!
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how Asana makes managing our work/workflows very easy. We enjoyed taking the steps of many of our processes to build workflows. We all know who is doing what and don't have to worry that a task/subtasks will be left out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana does not support the resource management part of the project, making it difficult (or impossible) to account for them within a project. We have to use outside tools for this but we would love that visibility inside Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cross-functional teams and it is crucial that we are always aware of what things must be done by what person and by what date. Asana makes tracking and communications very simple for us.
Asana is an effective tool for managing projects and tasks!
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Asana is a fantastic tool that has dramatically improved my work! I appreciate the range of features that Asana offers- it's helped me become much more organized and efficient in my career. In particular, I love the ability to keep track of all my current projects using this tool, set deadlines, and track my progress. Additionally, the calendar and board views are both super helpful for visualizing tasks and managing collaboration with team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a business owner and independent contractor, I occasionally have clients who request that I take over their tasks completely. However, there is no straightforward method to do so in Asana. I discovered in the typically informed Asana forums that another company's services provide the needed feature; however, Asana does not currently support this third-party service nor does it plan to do so shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a project management tool that helps teams to collaborate better on long-term projects. With its features, such as task lists, calendars, and reminders, everyone involved in the project can stay organized and on track. This way, potential problems are spotted early on and dealt with before they cause any significant delays or setbacks.
Asana: The best program for regulating processes in project management
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is that it's simple and non-technical. It's easy to set up projects, tasks, and subtasks and assign team members to them. This makes it easy to produce detailed progress reports for various projects and tasks. And because Asana is very customizable, you can make it work for you instead of the other way around. Try automating some of the more tedious tasks with Asana when they start irritating you - the application is upgraded monthly, so improvements are constantly being made!
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside to using Asana is that it doesn't support assigning work to a large group of individuals very well. Also, if you have many tasks to complete and need to move on to the next one, you must return to the previous one before starting the new one. This can take up considerable time, especially if you're under duress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Asana tool offers users a way to see how much progress is being made on a project and when deadlines are approaching. This helps prevent projects from getting bogged down and makes it easier to spot potential issues early on.
