What do you like best about the product?
While I am early in my adoption of Asana and therefore have not yet gained a comprehensive understanding of the application, what I have learned is very impressive. Really like the task managment capabilities. Setting up projects seems very straightforward and intuitive. Use it every day now for organizing and tracking my tasks. Customer support and training seems top notch also.

What do you dislike about the product?
Until email notifications are set properly, Asana may send numerous email notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes cross-team collaboration much easier in a remote work environment, allowing easy direct messaging relevant to tasks. Assigning tasks to other departments with clear due dates is also easy. As every task has an "owner" (aka a "responsible person"), it helps create clear accountability for every task within a project.
The Best Team-Management and Professional-Personal Productivity Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is designed to adhere to the foundational principles of productivity (personal triage, single-list, automation, keeping track of open-loops, etc.) , while giving your teams the customization and automations that are needed to build systems and manage big projects. The end result is that work gets done faster (more seamlessly / more easily / with less frustration), which is better for everyone. Asana is the every-day tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
At its core, Asana is simple, which is great! However, for those who are new to the tool (or arena of task-team management tools), they have a hard time envisioning how they are to use it. We have orientation for each team-member and they often get excited but they still don't necessarily know how to best implement the tool. I call this the "spreadsheet-conundrum." Spreadsheets can be vastly intricate and helpful, or they can be simple, but the average user doesn't really know how to get from simple cells to complex systems, unless they have seen multiple iterations and spent good time with the tool. In other words, Asana has a learning curve, and that curve is partially set by the organization who uses the tool. It's a complex situation that is helped by Asana resources, but is solved primarily at the organizational level. The challenge is worthwhile for EVERY TEAM, but for some the challenge will push them back for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana catalogues the work that we need to get done (tasks and projects), which helps free our brains to execute on those items. Additionally, through rules, custom fields, and other automations and integrations, Asana solves the problem of systems being too complex, or not being genuinely beneficial.
