Best collaboration tool for remote teams
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface of Asana is user friendly and more manageable than the existing competition. The variety of ticketing and sorting available in the tasks management tool is very easy and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the tool is user friendly, a certain amount of training is required to use the platform. Thus, a new member would require some guidance before exploring all the domains of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of ticketing helps in assigning and managing tasks given to different team members distributed across the globe. The notification process helps in real time update of the tickets assigned.

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and Drop Feature and Charts Also automation UI is better than most competitors, Asana provides the best project linking in my opinion, With Asana you Don't need extra software like slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sign-up is kinda complex also It provides many features at once which require extra time to learn though there are tutorials good UI tutorials will be best. Subtasks could be better handled
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project linking with great communication and charts and timeline without requiring a lot of other software. It provides an all in one experience.
Great to use
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Asana for 3 years and I found it very useful. I am a freelancer at Upwork and my client suggests Asana for task management and collaboration. It is wonderful to use. Moreover, it has a user-friendly interface, and assigning tasks is simple and quick although I like that I can switch between timeline, dashboard, calendar, and other views.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I used I have not faced any dificulty using Asana in my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simplicity of use and especially the fact that it is quite easy to have an overview of your tasks when you work on multiple projects at the same time. Moreover, the free version is not too limiting
Great project and time management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps communicate tasks among team members everyone knows what they need to do. Asana has a simple user interface which makes it super easy to use. An excellent tool for tracking and managing large complex applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any issues using asana but it's a bit complicated as it has loads of features it's a bit overwhelming at the start but the more you use asana the easier it becomes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps to establish good communication and efficiency in tracking project progress. By using asana it is now possible to predict when tasks will be completed planning has been up to the mark since I started using asana.

What do you like best about the product?
In my asana tool, I have integrated various platforms like slack, Google Calendar, Gmail etc. this feature helps to connect with the development team on one platform. This feature makes asana stand out from other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel asana has too many feature. this makes complex for beginners to understand the tool. Need to create tutorials about tool to guide users on how users can use task management tool very effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes easy to track the status of the project. this feature saves lots of time to track the status of the project.
Excellent! Simple UI but ton of functionality that actually makes sense.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues from around the world. Makes planning and goal setting a breeze since everyone clearly knows what they're assigned to and what they're expected to complete. Basic reporting tools are useful, and graphic UI is really user friendly and easy to look at whether you're more on the technical software/engineering side, or on the business development side (i.e. less technical).
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the cheapest solution on the block, and is considerably more expensive than some of the competitors out there. There's also no time tracking feature which is extremely annoying! That's partly why I am more geared towards Monday.com despite all the great things and capabilities that Asana has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have employees all around the world and people not physically able to meet, so our meetings are virtual. With the business we are in, there are a lot of moving parts and so having the ability to collaborate and stay on top of things, organized etc. is a key benefit of Asana. It allows us to stay lean, not need to have physical office spaces in every major city and still be just as effective as some of the older competitors.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana can serve multiple purposes within a company. It allows us to create numerous types of boards and has been incredibly useful for me in stressful situations that require quick decisions. The ability to monitor and manage your tasks from a single location significantly improves over previous methods. By submitting a project in Asana, collaborators can communicate and assign tasks in two directions, eliminating the need for lengthy email threads. Therefore, the project's status is always transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's help center and feature set are inferior to its competitor monday.com. In addition, you are allowed only to assign a single team member to each task, making it challenging to assign tasks to multiple individuals and forcing you to duplicate them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has used Asana as a task tracking and project management tool. We have been able to monitor and report on the development of a project in real-time from the beginning to the end of its life cycle. Asana enables simple document tagging and sharing, status updates, and more. In addition, we've used it to build an agile backlog, which has assisted us in planning for future projects.

A Great Product with Lot of Features for Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the integrations and continued development orientation by the team Asana. Connecting my workflow with outside 3rd party apps is much easier in Asana as other apps also support it. It's superficial but very deep inside. Managing projects and my activities is something I love to do. If there were any lifetime deals on Appsumo, I would grab it immediately!
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly it has a slightly higher learning curve when compared with its competitors, which can be compensated with good training videos and free certification by Asana. I appreciate the Asana Academy, but there should be courses on different aspects of using it (project managers, daily routine use, productive powerhouse, bloggers and marketers). Unlimited guests are not in the free tier, a significant limitation for free users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A To-do list is the first go toward managing my tasks and activities.
Managing my team and client activity is another great role of Asana in my workflow.
Other 3rd party apps are super-willing to connect to Asana, and I can find Asana in their integrations.

I used asana with my current organisation and found it to be very easy to use.

The best part about asana is that it offers a free to use plan which has very powerful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit difficult to work with on their mobile app as compared to their website.Also the emails from asana are very frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier our team used to work with google sheets for managing tasks which was not very good. Now they switched to asana and it is very helpful.
