Fast track course in project management

  • June 10, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All of my colleagues went to college and have some background in project management, which made me feel somewhat out of place. Whenever I tried to share my ideas or create new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), my process often appeared chaotic and unstructured compared to theirs. This difference was frustrating and made it difficult for my coworkers to understand and appreciate my vision.

However, everything changed when I started using Asana. This project management tool has significantly transformed how I organize my thoughts and work. With Asana, my thought process has become more structured and methodical. I can now break down my ideas into manageable tasks, set deadlines, and track progress systematically.

My colleagues have noticed the difference too. They can now clearly see my visions and understand the pathways I create for our projects. This has led to better collaboration and more effective teamwork. I use Asana daily, and it has helped me develop numerous efficient workflows. Not only has it streamlined my approach to project management, but it has also boosted my confidence in presenting my ideas.

Asana has become an indispensable part of my daily routine, enabling me to create structured pathways of work that align with the high standards set by my project management-savvy colleagues.

Asana Review

  • June 10, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to keep track of tasks, due dates, and other important components of project management software. By tracking all of my projects in this software, I can formulate a daily to-do list with my workload to keep all items on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still learning the software so there may be features I am unaware of. Currently, I wish it was easier to move project requests from triage to project mode without needing to consult my admin, but that's a minor blip in the program. Outside of that, I love everything about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of my workload, ensuring I am on task with my deliverables, allowing me to collaborate with other key internal stakeholders.

What do you dislike about the product?

Asana solves problems related to lack of coordination and organization throughout a vast team by enabling the use of a shared and structured platform.

Great performance monitoring.

  • June 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Before I started using Asana, it was very difficult to manage and oversee how well my team was doing their work. The twenty of us found it easy to make Asana part of our everyday operations. Monitoring projects is much simpler now than it used to be. For a small problem I encountered, their chat support was quick in response time and efficient in resolving the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s really nothing to dislike. Everything works well, and we’re looking forward to maximizing its use to further enhance our team’s performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our task completion was hindered by fragmented communication through emails, making it difficult to track all necessary information. Asana has centralized our communication and task management, providing clear visibility into task progress and resource utilization. This has eliminated our reliance on Excel for tracking, offering a more efficient and accurate way to manage our project.

Life changing for stable work life

What do you like best about the product?
The Asana platform has a user-friendly interface with a clean and modern design. Navigating through the platform is easy, and it helps me quickly find tasks and update projects without getting lost in a sea of menus.
One of the game-changing features for me is the collaboration tools. I can tag teammates, leave comments, and attach files, which ensures that everyone is always on the same page.

Asana's task management capabilities are top-notch. Breaking down projects into smaller tasks with due dates keeps me organized and focused. Additionally, the visual progress bars are very motivating.Lastly, the custom fields and task templates are wonderful. They allow me to tailor projects to fit my specific needs as a graphic artist.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the settings to avoid being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of notifications. Asana is great for managing tasks but lacks visual design tools, so I still need separate software for my graphic design work. There's a learning curve to fully utilize all of Asana's features, which can be daunting for new users. While the free version is good, some of the best features are only available with a paid subscription, which can be expensive for freelancers or small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's keeping my team on track and organized. We have a lot of different projects going on simultaneously, so having everything in one place really helps us stay focused and efficient. Plus, the task assignment feature allows us to easily delegate tasks to team members and keep track of their progress.

One major benefit is the ability to set deadlines and due dates for tasks. This helps us prioritize our workload and make sure important tasks are completed on time. The task notifications also ensure that everyone is aware of upcoming deadlines and can plan accordingly.Another great feature is the comment section, where team members can leave notes or ask questions about specific tasks.
