How productivity increases from asana
What do you like best about the product?
Its helps to track all your tasks at one place , its also very dynamic in nature we can connect multiple departments and track the performance of a project. This creates a very solid workflow one can see whe4e is our project delayed or completes at stages .
What do you dislike about the product?
There is less importance of Analytics dashboard. It should be more of engaging in nature for the organisation to track the reports . Needs improvement on designing side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helps in tracking the project report status under which department or a specific person . It makes the whole workflow smooth and transparent for all the users.
The one Project Management Software you will ever need.
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to build team projects and set the right ownership.
Task collaboration in asana is the one thing most of their competitors can't catch up to; being able to assign a single task to more than one person and having tasks linked to different projects allows collaboration between teams to be almost seamless. I have tried a lot of alternatives out of curiosity in the past year or two, yet nothing has made me believe that any of their direct competitors can offer something worth my while.
Asana also compliments with a massive list of integrations allowing our teams to work directly with a list of other tools without requiring additional input through exports etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions and automations in asana are enterprise only and their pro/enterprise plan can be slightly more expensive to some of the other solutions in that this field.
Their timeline view can definitely benefit from more filters related to the view as it's almost impossible to currently use on a bigger project.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management tasks are easly replicated using the custom templates, and the workflows allowed us to create automation for building up reports that were previously done manually.
Asana - Best task management software
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking the projects and creating the tickets for the bugs/issues is very easy. It becomes easier to track the projects and make sure everything is on track. It is very easy to use as people from multiple location can update the tickets, log comments and update the status.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface can be improved. Initially it takes time to get used to UI. The costing for the premium features is on a higher end as compared to its competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has made tracking the projects more easier and i have been able to automate some of my work. Tracking our project status and progress becomes easier. Integration with the third party app is very easy
Exceptional organizational, collaborative and communicative qualities for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fantastic; within my organization, we use it as a tool to manage projects, and we have had no problems so far. It has an excellent user interface; it is easy to schedule tasks and projects. It also facilitates the distribution of work, communication and collaboration between work teams, and monitoring activities to ensure that everything is completed on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working with Asana has been efficient, and I have not found anything I dislike about this great project manager. It should be noted that it cannot be used without an internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped us work and move forward in a more organized and efficient way in our day-to-day tasks and projects; implementing it has been a quick process, as learning how to use it and training new users. One of the most critical problems we solved was the scheduling and tracking all tasks and projects and the organization and synchronization of each work team. It has excellent qualities for job and project management; it keeps work teams in sync, with better communication and collaboration in the same place. For me, Asana is worth a lot.
Project management software with just the right amount of gamification!
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is beautiful and the gamified tweaks, like celebrations after completing tasks, make Asana fun to use. A fun user experience is the single most important factor in long-term use, in my opinion. I also love that Asana constantly solicits user feedback via platforms like the Asana Forum.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations for essential functions need work. For example, integrations to Google Calendar are one-way, and Slack integrations either mean EVERY single change to a project is posted to the connected channel, or nothing is. There are also some features, like Goals and Reporting, which could be expanded. However, the bottom line for me is that Asana rolls out updates frequently; I know that fixes are coming, even if they don't make it into the next update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my company, much of the "work about work" that goes into key job functions is not identified or well-known outside of the person responsible for completing the task. I use the Portfolios, Reporting, and Goals tools to quantify how much of my time is spent on data entry (work about work) vs. core responsibilities for my manager. Asana has helped me build a business case for growing our team and creating a formal process for allocating resources (like time and money) to projects by presenting the data in a manner that is compelling to my leadership team.
Asana Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana for keeping track of my work and ensuring projects are on-track. It's so helpful to have an interactive, collaborative "to-do list" so my mind can focus on the work it needs to and not on "Who's doing what?" "What info do I still need to share?" "Did I send this for approval?!"
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I love almost everything about Asana. One of my big wishes would be the ability to rename the default fields. Example: change "Due Date" to "In-Hand Date" or "Event Date." (It's helpful having the Dates custom field as a work-around, but still). Or, instead of "Assignee," having the option to rename that as "Project Manager." (Again, the People custom field is a handy workaround.)
Also, can we make the "Saved Searches" sidebar collapsible?? It's so rarely used by anyone in our org and takes up a big chunk of the sidebar.
Oh! The one thing I really hate is the "teasing" of features for Premium members. i.e. The "upgrade" button in the upper-left, Portfolios and Goals in the sidebar, etc. It's very confusing for several members on my team and clutters up the space.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the question of "who's doing what by when," dramatically reduces the chances of something being missed or forgotten, and reduces the hunt for information pertaining to projects (email vs. chat vs. file storage vs. etc.)
The Task Management App that strikes functionality & simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
I love Asana because it's easy to use. Such a relieve to onboard new users in my team to use the app. Beside that, we have been using it since 2018 and haven't noticed any slow down in loading all the tasks!
What do you dislike about the product?
The free features keep decreasing. I understand this from the business point of view, but some features should have been in the free tier instead of paid one. Also, the subscription is a bit steep if you're not doing business in USD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solve the problems of task management and task delegation because it has all the histories. It keeps getting better without adding too much features like other competitors do.
Vital to our non-profit
What do you like best about the product?
I like the transparency and flexibility in organizing work streams and collaborations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting features, including exporting, to be lacking. I would also like the ability to sort by "Start Date" in List view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's transforming the way teams think about group collaboration and the documentation of tasks (and level of task granularity).
Great Project Management/Task Manager for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Subtask management is very helpful. Allowing multiple people to be assigned to the same task using subtasks without duplicating the parent task. Being able to audit number of tasks per team member is great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The boards can get a little wide and lots of scroll time. When they get too big we have to create a new board. It would be nice to have some features to manage the size of boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving task and team management issues. Our team of 10 is able to collaborate and complete different pieces of a single task and know what each persons role is.
