Love Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use and great for marketing teams. It's been one of the easiest project management tools to train my teams on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Asana has limited reporting capabilities that are found in other project management systems. I'd like to be able to report, and show reporting to leadership
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility for managers on projects, and project management
The tool teams need to do their best work together
What do you like best about the product?
The flexible nature of Asana, meaning whether a team is looking for a simple tool or seeking more complex features, is what I love most about Asana.
In particular, some of my favorite capabilities include board customization to meet a team's specific needs, the ability to build out an entire step-by-step workflow through tasks and subtasks, and the calendar view for a holistic understanding of tasks and deadlines. I use My Tasks to manage my to-do lists and appreciate that I can store my to-dos in one place, even if they aren't tied to a project or board in Asana.
The interface is relatively intuitive once users get over the initial learning curve.

What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on how a team plans to use Asana, or if a user has never dabbled in a project management tool before, Asana can have a steep learning curve. Fortunately, there are many resources available to overcome any learning hurdles.
This may be self-explanatory, but I didn't find Asana as valuable when I worked strictly as a sole contributor. Users get more value from the tool when they're using it with one or more team members. Previously, I was granted access to Asana as an executive assistant. My executive team did not use Asana, so I didn't need all the robust features and capabilities to manage my workload.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in business operations, and the main benefits we solve with Asana are communication gaps amongst teams, commitment to project deadlines, and streamlined workflows through templatizing project initiation. Asana enables cross-functional team collaboration and makes it easy to repeat the same steps for projects repeatedly, which helps maintain quality and allows new team members to adopt processes quickly.

UI is a little complicated now, we can still understand it as we develop software on daily basis, but we can not bring our non-techy clients on Asana

Dealing with multiple clients' projects through Asana
Asana is amazing for helping streamline tasks and make sure you're not losing track of anything
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to assign tasks and due dates (WITH TIME) to anyone on your team or in your company. You can list out specific team members or branches of your company as well to narrow down employees to assign tasks to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have too many complaints about Asana. I think it's usage is specific to the way the company utilizes the tool- and most of my complaints would come from our functional usage. Not the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We assign tasks specifically to our data science team because they are sort of hands-off and have a lot of work coming from different directions in the company. This has helped to make sure nothing falls off of their radar. It's been very nice to put in due dates and times so they can prioritize work.
Solid project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has many beneficial features such as assigned owner, due date, ability to comment, ability to tag/prioritize etc. It's been very helpful for external and internal collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app crashes and isn't very helpful compared to the website. Also, the system can be a bit overwhelming. I've been using the tool for years and still have trouble navigating to my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of cross-functional projects and what my coworkers are working on and need help with.
The best alternative to manage work teams and projects in our hands

Asana has had a positive impact in my organization, it has helped us to do a better project management and has been fundamental to make work teams more productive. Personally, I feel very comfortable with this platform where I can connect with my colleagues, mark and work on my daily tasks, track our group work and centralize everything related to projects in one place, it has improved our workflow.
