Asana User for years
What do you like best about the product?
I like most of Asana features, you just really need to know how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help is not consistent. It's really hard to get in touch with anyone there, almost like everyone is AI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana currently manages all of our projects, very helpful
Great for company organization and communication!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a lot of capabilities that allow all departments of our team to communicate efficiently. For example, we've created a project called "Project Review" where we all collaborate on client projects and can keep tabs on what stages the project is in quickly. This allows us to know what needs done, who's responsibility it is to keep it moving, and when something no longer needs attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited number of users you can add at different stages of memberships.

Project Organization! Our workflow has significantly improved since using Asana. It helps to organize, prioritize and streamline to-dos. With each project having its own tab to deep dive into, this allows us to keep all the details in one place. While we don't always need the information, it is helpful to have handy if passing off work to someone else, or needing to refer to information quickly.
I also enjoy having the feature of completing a task but having the benefit of keeping it in projects to refer back to. This helps when training new employees and allows them to refer to if stuck on next steps.

With few bumps, Asana is great for my small non-profit team.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fairly intuitive to implement on a basic level, and it's easy to scale the space to our team size (We use the basic business package so it doesn't include portfolios, but since we're a small team we can get similar use out of teams and using asana projects to hold multiple smaller projects).
I've also worked with the Asana help desk a few times - although I wish you could directly speak with someone either on the phone or via chat on their website instead of opening a ticket, the tickets have always been responded to within about 24 hours and the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful.
Finally, the Asana Forum is a BIG help in finding answers to questions or workarounds to functionality pieces that aren't officially available.

What do you dislike about the product?
My team recently moved from being a fiscally sponsored program to having our own email addresses; unfortunately in Asana that meant creating a brand new space and individually migrating projects which did take some time and troubleshooting. In this same transition we moved from integrating Asana with MS Office to Google Workspace, and (for us) the integration isn't quite as intuitive or helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is our central space for tracking, discussing, and assigning work. It keeps key information all together and ensures that items/to-do's/assignments don't get lost because they live as tasks with reminders. It's also very helpful to search for completed tasks/projects and review the history of a piece of work.
Asana as a Project Manager in Branding
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana brings clarity to chaos. It makes it so much easier to keep everyone on the same page, celebrate progress, and spot roadblocks early. Plus, it’s intuitive enough that even non-techy teammates can jump right in — which is huge for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real challenge with Asana is that it can get cluttered fast if everyone isn’t using it the same way. When the team is aligned on process, it’s magic — but it definitely takes intentional setup and maintenance to keep everything feeling clear and manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team stay organized and aligned across multiple clients and projects. It gives everyone visibility into priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities — which cuts down on back-and-forth communication and helps us focus on actually doing the work instead of tracking it down. It’s made collaboration smoother, accountability stronger, and project delivery more consistent.

Managing multiple projects
The best team productivity app
What do you like best about the product?
It is the most user friendly project management app. With its clean and attractive interface, it makes time management feel effortless. It offers flexibility through lists and calendars that allows teams to customise their workflows. Collaboration is smooth with features that let users assign tasks and leave comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is rich in features it can be overwhelming for new users unfamiliar to the app. If not properly managed, the constant notifications and tasks update can become distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings all the tasks, projects and conversations into one easy-to-navigate platform, making collaboration seamless.
The only workflow app I've ever stuck with!
What do you like best about the product?
That it's fully customizable to how you want to use it -- there's no "right" way. Whether you want a live updating to-do list, to see your project timeline, to assign others tasks, or to keep complex projects organized, it's a versatile tool that's intuitive and easy to use. My favorite feature is that you can make notes and subtasks for your tasks, so instead of having an inefficient, miles-long to-do list, I can easily see what my overall project steps are while being able to remind myself of the finer details.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing. There are some features that I don't use, like reporting/metrics about how "efficient" I am, but I could see where those tools would be helpful to others so I wouldn't recommend eliminating them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I oversee a lot of "big picture" projects that are divided into multiple content areas that are then divided into multiple tasks. Asana helps me divide up that work and ensure that I'm on track with each project. I can simultaneously have a 10,000 foot view of everything going on while not neglecting any detail-oriented work that needs to get done to make it happen.
Asana May Work for Some
What do you like best about the product?
From a supervisor's standpoint, it is an easy way to see the progress of tasks or projects. It also allows you to see who is completing their assigned tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our intent was to have the ability to create a team within Asana, post projects and tasks, and that way everyone can see who is doing what and where they're at in the process. Unfortunately, if you don't tag each team member individually for each udpate or comment, the entire team cannot see it.
Also, I have one department that has two coordinators. I cannot assign a project to both team members. You can only assign one person.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One example is a rodeo project I've been working on for about six months now: With everyone that is involved, Asana allows us to upload documents and updates so that everyone is on the same page. If a meeting a missed by anyone on the committee, they can login to Asana and be informed as to what they missed.
