Better than other tools
What do you like best about the product?
Since I didn't want to spend money on purchasing any plan i used Asana's free plan and to my wonder it's free plan is better than the paid plans of many other tools. It has a lot of features even in free plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback in using the free plan here is that every now and then you get pop-ups and notifications to purchase a plan, too many notifications or pop-ups when you are in mid of a project can be irritating at times. Also for a first time user the UI is a bit complex
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Asana for managing my multiple projects and the best thing i liked about it was that i can toggle between multiple projects at the same time without any hassle and there are a number of views options available, i can chose the view which suits me even in free plan.

So many features for Project Management, Collaboration focused, and very expansive integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Require some experience to master.

Project Management made easy.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana now act as a pretty good competitor of JIRA. I can do the same thing that I do in JIRA with Asana.
Project Management and tracking is always needed and Asana proves more than handy in doing so.

I think Asana still needs to go a long way. Bug tracking and logging is one thing which is very annoying with Asana

Asana is an alternative to JIRA that makes Project management and tracking easy.
Assistance in managing multiple projects
What do you like best about the product?
The calendar feature is very useful when working on several projects at once. You can use the calendar to review the entire month. This is essential in any company where many teams produce products and rely on others. The process of creating and describing the task is quite simple in a few steps we can create tasks and assign selected members to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like asana that I can't add color to any custom fields or anywhere else. Asana offers so many customization options that it's hard not to be able to add colors. I think it would increase the appeal of this platform!

Asana has helped me gain experience in project management. It allows you to schedule and manage tasks. It has helped me plan a variety of projects.
Great cross functional, cross team tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating tasks that are both related to projects, but also tasks that are 100% individual. The ease of collaboration on tasks is fantastic and being able to set date ranges for the due dates helps with giving the member enough heads up about when tasks are required to be completed
What do you dislike about the product?
Half of our team (the development team) live in Jira. One issue is that our development team doesn't live in Asana as the marketing and design teams do. This can cause issues the development team need to make conscious decisions to be checking Asana to keep up to date. A 2 way, easy integration between the two would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Asana is helping us solve is ensuring that all departments are up to date and up to speed with what is required for each project. From development to testing, and then to marketing.

Make sure that all your team are using this and are all in on it. It's either all or none
Almost the perfect free tier
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a lot going on. Due to my way of working, I like lists but my colleague needs a calendar view, and viewing the task in both styles in Asana is really great. Also, being able to send messages is Asana helps us get rid of a third-party software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding even basic custom fields requires a premium which was a game killer a few times as we were only looking for a specific view and not all of the premium features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking almost everything that is going on within our company. It takes less and less time to be organized, synchronized, and keep everything under control.

Very clear and structured. All features are available to manage projects in a team.

one needs training to be able to use all functions.

Coordination and follow-up with timelines and control function, as well as keeping an OVERVIEW of all tasks of the various team members.

It has an intuitive, user-friendly interface and strong automation capabilities, making it excellent for team collaboration. It excels in task tracking, custom workflows, and portfolio management.

It lacks built-in time tracking and chat features, something that is becoming a common feature among alternative platforms
