Intuitive and motivational software
What do you like best about the product?
Having multiple tasks in one place helps keep track of your workload and enhances levels of satisfaction when a task can be completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to be able to multihome subtasks, not just main tasks. It would also be able to have an area grouping tasks you are a collaborator on, not an assignee, in order to keep track of those tasks too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with team, department and wider company can be done efficiently in one place. Viewing tasks all in one place makes work management easier.
Very Useful for monitoring and enhancing collaborative workflow

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Asana for over 5 years now as a PMP, with a short break in between on a team that uses Monday. I'll never go back to another tool again if I can help it. Just in the past year, most of the few pain points I had with Asana have been resolved and I'm pretty sure the pricing structure has become more favorable for start ups and nonprofits that I work with. As simple as it sounds, multihoming and customization of My Tasks are two of the biggest features that contribute to org wide adoption/buy-in in my experience. Hands down the best tool for task management with plenty of templates to serve most use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been able to achieve skipping weekends with AI studio rules, but would appreciate if it was just native (outside of project templates and dependencies). I find that Asana is slowly catching up to Flowsana, but it would be nice to not need the integration at an added cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structure the right way, Asana can be used to track progress from the project/ops workflow level scaffolded all the way up to org level strategic initiatives. This eliminates outside reporting and ensures visibility/accountability across all work.
Amazing All-In-One Workflow Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive software that has powerful features to coordinate, manage, and empower workflows with ease. After some setup, the requests flow with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any software, features can take a minute to become expert in and configure. More advanced workflows takes some time to learn the power of the platform and then put it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routing tasks and approvals to the right team members automatically as work moves through its various phases.

Asana is a solid tool for collaborating within a complex organization.

Although Asana may not have advances MS Project capabilities, the tool is great for communications, doc reviews and all around source of truth.

Easy to get up to speed and I look forward to the AI integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
The timeline feature is a bit tricky to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking several hundred projects at one time. Many subtasks are supported by different departments. Asana helps communicate priorities and performance
Visual and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that it can be more visual. I love the Board View. I also love the classes that help with learning the program. I'm still learning but the more I learn how to use it the easier it is. Our office has just started using it as a whole. It seems to be working well. None of us have had to use customer support. The integration and implementation are made a lot better with the classes provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still learning. I get lost a lot in the excel-like features (like if you x then y will happen). But that is more a me thing than the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me it helps having a more visual screen (like the board screen). It seems great because the employees can choose the way they process the same data.
Aesthetic Project Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy for teams to get up and running quickly without a steep learning curve. From managing simple to-do lists or coordinating complex, cross-functional projects, Asana adapts well to a variety of workflows. The ability to customize views and rules adds to how Asana makes day-to-day task management more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s room for improvement in Asana automation and integrations. The current Rules feature is fairly limited-offering only basic triggers and actions that fall short for teams managing more advanced or conditional workflows. Similarly, the integrations with other applications tend to be surface-level, requiring workarounds or third-party tools for deeper functionality. For teams relying on end-to-end automation or complex data syncs, these gaps can be a constraint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps streamline cross-team collaboration by providing a shared workspace that’s easily accessible across the organization. Because the interface is so intuitive, team members can jump in and navigate tasks, timelines, and updates with little to no onboarding. This reduces the need for constant explanation or follow-up, especially when working across departments or time zones. It’s been especially useful in keeping project visibility high and responsibilities clear without relying on status meetings or manual updates.
