Asana is almost there
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of cool features to keep track of projects and collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Calendar is a list based one so it is hard to tell how long tasks will take.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me organize my tasks and to dos and keep them in one place.

You Cannot Assign Multiple People to the Same Task , project gets comoplex sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides an excellent platform for increasing collaboration in a team.If you are working on a project that includes sensitive or confidential data, Asana can help you protect that data.
Good tool for project management but is very complicated to setup and train people early on

The comprehensiviness of the tool in managing projects. It definitely wins over other project management tools in terms of capability

The tool seems overwhelming in the early days. Difficult to train people early on and the interface could be more intuitive

A user friendly Project Management system
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy to use and user friendly. It helps us to keep things organized and projects on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets costly very fast and can be difficult to figure out account details and the reasons that things get so pricey. I had quite a few back and forths with their support to try to figure it out and I was still confused at thee end of it. So, Asana is not that scalable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to keep all of our client projects straight, keep specific collaborators within each project, use due dates etc to keep everyone on track. We use the Milestones feature to track how things are moving, etc. We are able to see for each client where their project is and what roadblocks there may be, etc.
Good platform -
What do you like best about the product?
The various layouts of the platform are interesting. I personally prefer the list view to track my tasks, but most of my team prefers the timeline view due to the visuals: better seeing the sub-tasks attched to each project. We have started using Asana recently so we are still exploring it, but it looks promising. We use it during our weekly team calls to stay on top of projects. The reminders and being able to communicate/respond directly from the email notifications is really great. No one has an excuse for missing a task or sharing their thought.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, we found that Asana offers poor customer service. It took numerous chats and emails to get an answer.
As mentioned, we are new users so it will be interesting to see once we upgraded if we will get any support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using various excel sheets and Teams to monitor projects and it became too confusing. Some team members wouldnt be working with the latest file and that created problems, mainly delays. Within Asana, we can include the project directly or redirect to the proper file location. There is no more pinging colleagues to ask them when they are done with their portion. Management has a clear view of what team members are working on. And more.

Continuous improvement in the application and interface. Great tool to manage work and tasks, becoming stronger as a true project management tool. Cross-organizational visibility and ability to have a 1:many task assignment

Historically has not been strong as a project management tool, limited ways to export data views

It's allowing cross-team visibility into resourcing, allowing us to better staff and align on projects

What do you like best about the product?
It is comprehensive in regard to keeping everything you need in one place. The templates are nice to use when you're just gettign started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is not the best at using its hierarchy for organization to the highest degree. It could be leveraged better.

Asana is meeting the need for a comprehensive all-in-one solution for the purpose of work management--for an entire business. And it does an acceptble job of it.

What I like best about Asana is how it can work for product management for multiple components and how most everything/project parts can get sub-categoried for clearer organization and mark offs

What I have been finding least helpful about Asana/what I dislike as a user is I can't customize a name view for projects, e.g., for my own view/lists from the original task name that doesn't apply to the whole team, it makes it harder to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whar problems Asana solves are ones such as views and mark-offs for project management and as a calander for company work, which has helped transparency and performance tracking

What do you like best about the product?
One of the main advantages of Asana is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate and use. The tool is also customizable, allowing users to create their own projects and tasks based on their specific needs. Plus, Asana has it's own mobile application if users are not at their desk sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a free version available at Asana, many of the more advanced features are only available with a paid subscription. Also, Asana might well or not integrate with other CRM softwares and can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From its overwhelming interface to its pricing structure and limited integration options, there are certainly areas where Asana could improve to better meet the needs of its users.
