Asana - good tool for project management!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana did make it easy to see who was doing what and what needs to happen for projects. This was used for event planning within the non profit space, some coworkers did need this tool to help them stay on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool did make me feel like I was being micromanaged. I like to do things on my own time and add to my calendar instead of using an app. I do understand however how this would be helpful for teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows others to see who has completed what and what still needs to be done. Asana is easy to use and allows for team projects to be successful and efficient.
Helpful for keeping track of things in one place
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very user friendly and I even assign tasks to myself to keep track of things!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike that I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's beneficial that I don't get a million notifications from tasks that aren't related to me -- someone just tags me if it pertains to me or needs my attention

It's a realistic productivity tool. I like the options you get & the fact that you can customize it to your taste.

The user experience in the app could be better for easy navigation.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is tremendously one of the most essential tool available for managing tasks. I appreciate that the project's timeline can be set to avoid missing the due dates of the project. It is entertaining and easy when creating projects, adding milestones as well as tracking the status of every ongoing project. Its free plan is also remarkable because it has more rich components and features for everyone to learn before deciding which package to subscribe to long-term options. Has many options of flexibility and customizations. Also, it helps the team to work together smoothly on many different tasks. The capability of setting up recurring tasks is an excellent feature.

Productivity of this tool is on a highly level, no bad thing.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like most is you can write down the tasks for each employee and can control if they are doing their work on time, or if there is any delay. So that means you don't miss any task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly, for me it is kind of messy, which means; sometimes I can be lost checking the duties of people since they are all listed under each other. You need to scroll down&up a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mostly use for our development team, we create different sections for each group and share their daily&weekly duties there so we all can track what is going on.
Best way to keep tasks within timeframes
What do you like best about the product?
Asana features my go-to feature that I usually rely on to have an overview of my projects and that is the Portfolios. I like that through the Portfolio I can easily monitor all the projects status and any collaborative process being carried out under my supervision. More so I can make changes through the portfolio whereby I can organize my plans and strategies
I also like that Asana makes it very simple for me and my colleagues to stay on the same page in terms of work that needs to be done, work progress and task allocation and this is made possible by its task comments platform. In this feature, I like that it helps to update everyone involved on the project and if there are changes to be made this helps as well to inform everyone about the changes.
Another feature that I have found helpful is the availability of templates and an option to save any changes made to the templates. In this scenario, I like that it helps me to initiate a project quicker since I don't have to start from scratch also I like that Asana has a wide range of these templates for different projects which offers so much flexibility in my workflow.

Using Asana I have found one aspect to be very inconvenient in my workflow and that is the missing time tracking feature. In this aspect, it is very difficult to keep track of how much time has been spent on a task which makes it even harder to produce a detailed report on the work progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Updates and Templates found in Asana have benefitted my workflow so much since it has become very easy and much less complicated to initiate projects since Asana has a wide range of templates and also work status updates is another benefit that I have noted whereby it has managed to give us a clear overview of when tasks may be completed which has been very difficult to achieve before using Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that anyone considering this product would have to find third-party integration software to make up for the missing time tracking feature and other vital features.
Efficient Company Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Having multiple different teams on Asana and adjusting permission levels to make sure the right people see the correct projects. It makes it so much more straightforward to be able to have the accurate information at hand available for the right set of eyes and be able to track a timeline of all projects and tasks that needs to be done, or have been completed, or so on forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would much prefer to see exact timestamps instead of "2 days ago" and see what time an employee or manager comments and when they create a task. This would allow us to establish the timeline for specific projects better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, we had difficulty keeping track of all of our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). At the time, it was okay because we were still a small company but, as we grew and expanded, it became more challenging to keep track of everything. Thanks to Asana, we were able to have a dedicated place to keep all of our SOPs organized and keep our company supported on all necessary updates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have an expanding company and need an efficient resource for documenting all processes, projects, and tasks, Asana is an excellent tool for this.
Asana is a very interesting tool with great features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that my work plan incredibly accepts the program; I have managed to approach an excellent functioning of tasks to improve daily situations. It has an intense system that is reflected in the management of the tools. The support helps me to corroborate any information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that the software has a very high specific cost according to the previous versions.

It has been very amazing to get the best deals to constitute a job of daily activities. It simply helps us efficiently manage the projects in a straightforward way and with incredible information gathering. It has been beneficial to obtain an internal business order.

Asana is a great project management tool for all type and size of projects and teams. It's ease of use, user friendly interface makes it one of the most favourable and popular softwares for our marketing and content management teams located in different parts of the globe. Efficient inapp messaging and notifications, email notifications is a big plus as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana might appear as a very complicated or simple tool. It depends on the size and complexity of a project, assignment, and experience of the user.

We use Asana for conceptualizing and developing ideas around creatives and written content to be used in marketing campaings and projects . Our teams are working remotely and in different time zones. Asana makes it easy to complete any campaign on timely manner.
Asana is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the format of Asana, and it allows me to view all my tasks in one place. I can even assign specific tasks to my team member and allocate a deadline for each task. It promotes collaboration work within the team and helps with organizing our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email notifications are too many. When you are a collaborator, or you create a task, you are notified about everything. It would be great if it could automatically remove those notifications.

-Avoiding overflooding internal emails or using google chats to communicate with team members.
