One of the tools for to maintain task list and to collaborate across teams
What do you like best about the product?
The way we can connect our maintain our task list and set priorities as well as collaborate with all stakeholders on that task. It increases accountability and collaboration among the teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it very difficult to manage steps for customers where the steps are same. The summary view does not give insight on which group the task belongs to. There can be UI improvements in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Asana increases the visibility of the teams and increases accountability for individuals. This way teams become more productive and also give visibility on road blockers as well as the tasks on priority.
Easy and helpful assignment organizer
What do you like best about the product?
Oh, I like that Asana is super simple to use and has a lot of customization aspects to it. You can add different tasks and then sub tasks and have all different due dates which makes work so much more organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like there can be a lot going on with the Asana projects. I think there could be a way to simplify that, especially on the taskbar side where you select your projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving with Asana is that we can all be in different places and still be able to collaborate on projects and due dates without having to be in the same room as someone.
Quick platform to manage projects
What do you like best about the product?
It is really friendly to use, a platform to communicate and manage tasks. Managers can assign projects and check them any time they need it, there is no need for micromanagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could have more features, maybe a chat that can make communication easier and faster between teams, projects, department, taggs to other people and specific.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It would be great to have maybe a timer for each task and when time is running out, maybe change the color automatically to alert the employee to complete that task soon.
Easy to use, sometimes steps get repetitive
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the checklists Asana includes with tasks, the ability to mark things as complete and ease of unmarking them, moving assignments from to do to working on to completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super user friendly at times, wish there was a "back" option when looking at details to return to previous screen, can get repetitive to try and go back and forth between details/assignments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to assign tasks and keep track of these tasks from assignment to in progress to completion, and then having details of the tasks easily accessible.

Asana

Asana - User Friendly Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is that it uses a user-friendly visual interface that helps keep track of the tasks and the progress of each task. It's easy to use with the drag and drop function.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is that sometimes it can get complicated with dependencies and linked tasks. Also, I'm not aware of a function that separates tasks into their priority and urgency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Asana are that it helps organize tasks for the team. It helps with saving time and allows the team to understand what everyone is doing across the department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great tool that helps visualize tasks and task management into a user-friendly tool.
All in one project management solution
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and user-friendly. I like that there are multiple options for organizing or viewing a project, so folks on the team who like a calendar view can opt for that, while those who like the timeline view can use that. It makes it flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a small team we are using the basic version, which has limited features. We can do most of what we need to do, but to get the most use out of the product it's clear you need to opt for the full premium version. So there are functions I just haven't even tried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has definitely helped our team collaborate and communicate on joint projects more clearly, reducing emails and miscommunications. We are able to track deadlines and all the steps of a project in one place, and in fact keep all the projects from all departments in one place, which helps the whole team understand everyone's workflow better.
The best project management software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is phenomenal with the clarity they can provide into projects. Team members can message each other within a particular task or subtask for quick and easy clarity into projects. Additionally, Asana keeps a very clear record of any changes or additions made to a project, task, or subtask, including but not limited to title changes, due date changes, priority level changes, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their reporting dashboards can be a little tricky to navigate at times — we've tried to establish a team dashboard to help us run through our tasking at weekly meetings but we haven't found a setup that suits our needs quite yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team grew from 2 people to 6 people in a very short time. This rapid increase in team members and project participants prompted us to make the switch to a better project management platform, one where we could lay out unlimited tasks and subtasks and create high clarity into our projects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits of tracking personal and professional work: I can create a separate space in Asana where I can manage both. Tracking team progress and checking how much workload they had in the last week and whether their workload is manageable in the near future or not. What's the average timeframe each developer or designer has invested in a week regularly? Working hours, efficiency, and productivity.
