What do you dislike about the product?
It Will be good to have templates based on the project type
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management, Work progress, Task management
Great Task Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things about Asana. To name a few: the project tabs are user friendly and visually appealing, The task lists can be viewed in a timeline format, board format, list, and a number of other ways. It's easy to add users and assign tasks to them, and you can customize the columns to then show the measures that you want to see (eg. status, % completed, notes etc). I also love the overview page, which connects to your company goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a Desktop app for Mac
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a team and the team's tasks has never been easier. Things are getting done faster, and we will never go back to using a spreadsheet as a task list!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be daunted at first. Take it one step or one project at a time.
Look out, Trello
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is the options for swapping the views for your boards. Don't like the Trello card format? Try the list. this makes it great for lists/tasks, agendas, and anything else you need to organize and track. I also very much like being able to comment and see discussions for a historical view of what was talked about with regard to a particular task.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main quibble would be with the interface with regard to the project or group. Sometimes it's confusing which group project I'm viewing and it seems like there are a few extra steps of busy work in the setup of a project. Most likely a learning curve thing.Honestly, I haven't found anything else yet I dislike aside from the brand logo, which makes me feel like it's an app for tracking your cycle... It would be a great addition to be able to customize the app icon and maybe some of the other visuals as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped me be more organized since comparing it to Trello. I love the conversational threads that can happen on tasks so I can go revisit what was concluded about a given issue with my team. I've also been able to bring more focus to my tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're working with a team of coworkers, I recommend getting them to adopt the use of Asana so they are not going outside of the app to update info or add new projects and tasks. Having the entire team use the app will make things run so much better.
Review for asana
What do you like best about the product?
It provides good tracking of ongoing projects. It work no cloud based information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not user friendly for all the persons in organization. It need sometime for new person to get used to this tool for tracking work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have uaed this tool for work monitoring, project management, task assigning and project timelines.
One of the best collaborative tools for WFH teams
What do you like best about the product?
Being my first experience with project management tools, working with Asana was really so easy. You will require little or no help to understand the task distribution and the overall workflow. Managing our day-to-day task with Asana is quite simple. For the project managers, creating a new project and its subtasks is straightforward. Once the tasks are created they can be easily assigned to teams, just by names.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, there is no demerits or disadvantages to this application. The app works the best for all scenarios and project handling. Even if I compare it with EverNote I will prefer using Asana as it covers all the worthy features for project management. However, if I had to list one demerit then it would be its pricing. Once the pricing structure for paid Asana editions will become less, it will do wonders in the IT market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel Asana is capable of handling everything, basic to complex projects. Task handling is very smooth and you don't need to refer to any tutorials for it. Yes, I have used a limited set of features but the free version is still better than the other tools. Talking about its visuals, the interface is neat and easy to understand. You can keep a track of all the tasks that have been assigned to you and you can change their status accordingly as working, done or completed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For new startup businesses, who have just entered into IT industry, Asana is the best tool for teams collaboration. The way it offers an option to create multiple projects and their subtasks is super. On top of that, you can set up priorities and deadlines for a specific task. Managers can easily keep an eye on the progress of the work whether it's pending or has been completed. Though I have not used the Premium and Business features, the Basic version will also do a great job.
In short, I would highly recommend it for the work for home culture.

Prioritize Tasks, Work Freely and Remotely...!!!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about Asana is that we can have internal chats and comments over the tasks and projects we have created over the dashboard. Also, it updates with notifications when any team member updates about his task with the milestones in the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It makes the notification tray messy when we have more than one task assigned to teams, and we are regularly updating all projects. At that point, the notifications are flooded seamlessly, and there is nothing sort of priority thing at that point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working in an organization and assigning tasks to the development team and research team by adding them over to their specific projects and providing each group ember all the necessary updates and information about the product development and progress in the work. All the features of Asana are pretty awesome.
Good Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, elegant, easy to use. Not much of a learning curve like Project Online or Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not suitable for complex projects. Extracting the data for analysis can be difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick management tools can be used by Marketing and Sales teams. Easy rollout. Fully cloud. Easier maintenance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try comparing this with Jira, Planner, and Project online before deciding on one product
Useful but Requires a Lot of Training
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable it is to any business. It's an awesome way to organize all our assets!
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a lot of training to get fully up to speed on all the functionalities. Not as user-friendly as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana to organize all our marketing assets for the company.
Great for a growing team!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with my team, multiple project view options, dependencies allow for approval processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you have to purchase bundles of seats when you run out. I want to add them one by one as we grow and not ten at a time. Some of the functions of dependencies are great, but the ability to customize workflows for assignments and processes would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration via email can be so chaotic. Asana allows our team to have a single source of truth for projects, events, programs, and requests. We used to use a google slide deck to update our team on different activities. Asana enables team members to log in anytime, anywhere, to find all of the information they need. With international team members working opposite hours, that means they can keep working without having to wait until the next workday for an answer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is an excellent project management and collaboration tool for a growing team! We've scaled from 5-10 users to 40+ in the last year, and it continues to be a valuable tool to keep us on track!
Tracking and organizing projects is easier and more professional.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like about Asana is how easy to use its task list, it is very modern and practical, you can list all kinds of tasks you can think of and then do them, you can set an alarm or reminder which will help you to be more productive and keep in mind all the projects you might forget, another feature is its excellent compatibility with other operating systems and electronic devices, it is a very convenient program.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software has not let me down in any way, it has fulfilled everything I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped me and the team I work with to be more efficient and productive workers. Asana supports us with a variety of state-of-the-art and very practical functions which makes our understanding, knowledge and skills much better at work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a software you can rely on.
