Love Asana
What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is to communicate in Asana
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't have a subtask assigned to a project without it becoming a duplicate stand alone task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by communicating before meetings
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be creative, you can use Asana for more than just project management
A versatile, responsive and extremely intuitive project management platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows you to visualise at a glance the project as a whole as well as create and delegate objectives between fellow teams and colleagues. You can set dates to complete by, prioritise and create sub tasks within them. I found the learning curve to very extremely easy, and it meant I could focus on inputting tasks with ease and get on with them, without having to figure out how to do so to begin with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially I found the mobile app a bit restricting in terms of having certain information available at a glance (e.g. columns on a list view for priority, deadlines etc.) but other than that it offers a great deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The greatest problem that was solved was saving time in communication by listing new objectives or issues and when to resolve them by. This saved possible meeting time which could then be used to focus on dealing with the goals and provide updates to any updates and issues. Attaching files to certain tasks to provide evidence that could be followed up with comments etc. is also extremely useful.
Great platform for task management.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is a wholesome package for task management. It provides a one-stop solution for communication and task management. The notifications are prompt and have kept the team productive. Having the ability to view tasks in a calendar has been a big boon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although inbox works but it could have been a bit better. Inbox also does not have features for Pro users. The inbox can also become too much when you get a lot of messeges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for task management. It has been great in coordinating with freelancers and the team. It has consolidated our task management workflow into a simple, easy-to-use app.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have basic task management needs definately go for it.
Asana For Ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is my go to project management tool. I like the variety of interfaces. Something for everyone.
Different Views for different needs/people. People like to organize info the way it makes sense for them.
Different Views for different needs/people. People like to organize info the way it makes sense for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able share across ASANA accounts in the free version. Everything works great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning how to manage our workflow and prioritize development.
Use Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly visualization and customization
What do you dislike about the product?
Most customization features require a paid membership, but I think overall, membership plans are affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining workflow and cross-functional collaboration! Saves time, increases efficiency, and improves teamwork/team morale.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure everyone on your team is onboard. It works the best when a majority of a team is using it together.
Intuitive, with Extensive Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a very user friendly application, yet it offers a robust set of features and integrations making it easy to connect other platforms such as Slack, Zoom, or Google Workspace. The notifications are powerful yet easy to customize, and there are also good options for summary level information and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features which are not yet as mature, such as goals and KPI tracking. The desktop also lacks some of the online features, and it is also a bit difficult to access project and task IDs in this environment (which are required for some integrations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team are learning to work more asynchronously, while more consistently keeping updates, files, and related communication all together with their related tasks and projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you have a team of advocates involved from the start, and target some key teams early on.
A fantastic platform
What do you like best about the product?
Having a central repository to keep track of all of our current projects has been an extreme help and a huge timesaver for our organization. 2020 forced us to pivot in many ways, and we greatly struggled with staying on top of all of the projects we had going on. We use it every day all day for keeping track of the timelines, notes, and any relevant project-related documents. For this reason, I would highly recommend Asana to anyone that is struggling to manage multiple projects and/or clients at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides; it is simply a fantastic platform to use!

The timeline, in particular, has been the most crucial part of our onboarding process. It has been a gamechanger being able to see what milestones are coming and is a great way for us to remind our clients of upcoming deliverables.
One of the best project management software
What do you like best about the product?
It is so simple to use that I even use it during my private time. I have an easy way to arrange all the things I have to do for the day and I could see all the deadlines easely. I can pin also people on the tasks that they need to work on and give them deadlines, it is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing Really, I have been using Asana for about 5 years and I can't compalin
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and project management are the key areas that Asana helps me with. I can manage my work better with it
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just use it, it is great
Asana has made me more productive by a LANDSLIDE
What do you like best about the product?
When we first started using Asana, I thought oh sure another product that will "help me" but WOW this actually helps me stay on top of my assignments across our 4 sister companies, running and planning promotions, managing issues, fixes and so much more. I often open my Asana inbox (my favorite feature) before my email inbox, as it gives me a better idea of what is going on in the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was an option to just upgrade single users instead of the whole team. The majority of our users are very task based and the Premium Level is perfect for them, but the management team could benefit from the Business Level offerings, but the cost at our size right now is not justified.

We use it for so many differnt things including:
- Forms the team can fill out for issues to be handled in the weekly meetings
- Forms the team uses to recognize other members of the team for exceeding core values
- Calendar view in projects to plan the quarter/year ahead for marketing
- Reoccurring tasks for checking in on projects, and keeping training on track across all departments.
- Reporting of tasks - completed, past due, number of recognitions and what they are for (from the forms mentioned above) and more is reviewed from a report in our weekly meetings.
Honestly I could go on and on, but those are the top 5

I finally feel organized
What do you like best about the product?
Clean user interface, very easy to pick up and learn. Works great for project managers and deliverable-creators alike. I integrate Clockwork and Everhour. A million times better than Basecamp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super conducive with kanban. The need to task things out to individuals still puts you into a waterfall-like structure. Would also like to have subtasks automatically assigned to boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forecasting. So great to get a clear picture of each person's capacity every day. I definitely feel more productive and can confirm items on my to-do list.
