Asana makes me a better professional
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can track my work and the work of my colleagues just by checking the collaborators on my tasks and also adding comments to inform them about my workflow and the status of the task. The workflow of each task is always registered and I can always rely on the history of my tasks and board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if I could create model tasks with subtasks linked with one another. That would help so much with operational tasks that I deal daily. I feel like the 'My Tasks' tab could be organized more visually, just like the 'Inicial Page' tab is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think that the best thing with Asana is having the history of each task available at any time. By using the comments, the description and the subtasks I can see all the efforts that involve each task and improve my workflow and of my colleagues as well.
I Cannot Imagine Life Without Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives me a sense of calm and focus by letting me see my weekly to-dos in one place, allowing me to stay synced up on large-scale projects, and has become our team's single source of truth for much of what we do. The ability to rely on Asana to keep track of everything we need to accomplish helps me feel focused and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is the fact that some of the best features are behind a paywall and there isn't that great of a nonprofit/higher ed discount available with which we could turn on those features. But we manage to make do with the premium tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created a dashboard using custom tags to track the invoices we process for our admissions office so we can visualize our budget. We have also used this for long-term project management that requires different levels of approval. We also use it for 1:1 meetings so we can keep track of progress toward performance goals and celebrate the achievement of soft goals we achieve.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll find the most success if your office culture support transparency and if all users embrace using technology as a critical part of their daily workflow.
Intuitive, simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplistic and clean UI and UX of the whole product. I like to use it for mostly to manage all my projects and the powerful dashboard allows me to do so with the portfolio dashbaord.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I love all the features and products, I'd love to see more of the integrations with development tools such Altassian suit and other which are similar to those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important things that I try to use Asana for are bringing transparency and streamlining the day to day work of my team members. The other benefits are avoiding unnecessary meetings when it can be a simple update on a task. So save a lot of time and effort and make everyone's life easy.
Great Experience using Asana for Project Management

Asana is the engine behind our team's daily operational success!
What do you like best about the product?
There are a few things that make Asana the tool of choice for us. The first is how easy it is to share tasks across projects, which we use a lot in our line of work. Beyond that, Asana is always adding new features/tweaking the efficiency of features to make them work even better, and everything released seems to have a purposeful use for our team. Finally, it's easy to navigate and keep things organized within Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
In day-to-day use there honestly isn't much - if anything - I dislike. The system has enough options to change functionality from user to user that if one way of using something doesn't fit, you have another option to make sure the platform works for you and your use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to solve scheduling problems for both client program delivery and for our team in terms of supporting that delivery. We run all of our program operations from design to delivery through Asana to make sure we don't miss a beat.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're on the fence about Asana vs. another platform, don't be. Choose it and start using it to drive operational success. You won't be disappointed.
Hands down the best project management tool available for any business size
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives visibility to every team companywide and allows cross-functional teams to communicate more efficiently. Every task object can have several useful relationships, from related OKRs and KPIs to blocking users that are keeping you from completing a certain task. Different views allow you to configure each project in the most adequate way and allows contributors to work in the way they feel more comfortable. Asana also integrates directly with Zoom and HubSpot, which are part of our tech stack, so it is really easy to work with. They also offer an Ambassadorship program that allows you to showcase your knowledge of Asana and have access to more resources within their community.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about Asana. However, I do think that the team could implement better workflow actions. Right now, a lot of standard actions that you would expect from a project management automation tool are pretty crude and most of what needs to be done can only be achieved through an integration called Flowsana. In an ideal world, I'd love to see all Flowsana actions implemented natively onto Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Asana for two years now across two different organizations. In both organizations, Asana has allowed us to build ticketing systems to control marketing requests and give visibility of our work to other internal stakeholders. On top of that, repeatable project templates have allowed us to operationalize and replicate gtm strategies for new product launches.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate and compare your tools and how they might/might not be redundant in your tech stack and how it integrates with the rest of it. In our use case, Asana has been great because it excels in its integrations, ease of use and compatibility with the rest of our tech stack. I can't imagine myself working without Asana anymore. As a matter of fact, I started using it personally and used it recently when moving apartments to create a checklist!
Asana is an incredible work management software to keep my activities organized and easy to track.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way how the rules work within the projects, they are easy to use and easy to configure (no code).
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Asana is the fact that there is no date custom field yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving problems with task assignments, I'm contacting and keeping work with my clients. I'm 2x productive as before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana has the way to power through your work management, easy to use and easy to navigate.
Asana | Hands down the best Project Management tool on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows you the freedom to be creative on how you use their product so that it suits not only your project needs but can be customized according to how you work best. They are always creating new features and asking users for their input to make their product better. My favorite thing about Asana is the community that is created within the culture of Asana. You can always find answers, ideas or help in the Asana Community.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I find difficult is when I am logged in to Asana and I want to browse the integrations available, I have to log out so that I can go to the main website to browse the integrations available. Not a deal-breaker, but the user experience could be improved in that aspect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Asana to manage projects for both Website design and Digital Marketing clients. Asana has helped us keep tasks organized and our tacticians focused on what is important. I can create multiple views of projects so that I can see their progress at a 10,000-foot view or get down in the weeds and manage the minutia of a project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would do your research when looking for project management software. However, I doubt you will find one with all of the features, and the price point that Asana offers.
Love, love, love asana and our productiveness has increased!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes collaborative tasks easier, more trackable and encourages more communication. We love how it organizes our ideas into actionable items in an easy to use, easy to see way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love task dependencies to be part of the free program- this seems like a needed addition to teams who are using it frequently, but can't quite convince leadership to pay all the money for all the other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of collaboration, communication holes, processes not working- it has been a great addition to our team in creating synergy and better communication. We have been able to add metrics and evaluations to all we are doing because of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works best if everyone uses it. So rolling it out is difficult if you have people who don't want to use it. But it is highly useful in project management and organization.
Review of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is the organization I can do with all the projects, portfolios and tasks. The customization that it has makes my work a lot easier. Of all the softwares I've used, it's by far the best
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Asana is nothing, really. It has all the tools that I need and could think of. They keep listening to the community and always improving everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helped me organize all my projects and all the tasks my team had to do. With the organization that it has, everyone has better knowledge of what to do and what is happening with everybody
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The recommendation I do is to try every customization it has, in order to adapt your work the best way possible in the plataform
