Really Useful for Social Media Managing
What do you like best about the product?
It is really useful to streamline communication regarding post development.
Other team members can update tasks that are assigned to me. Uploading info and images at their convenience and making it convenient for me to use this info

Wish the subtasks were colour coded and new subtasks appeared at the top within the submenu for the task

Asana is very customizable to fit various use cases and workflows, which allows it to work for teams of all types and sizes.

Onboarding could be improved or adding an AI chatbot to help users build new workflows

Asana allows our large, remote team to collaborate and work together on large projects, keeping everything on track.

Asana is SUPER easy to organize in whatever way works for you.

Because it can be configured in so many ways, it's a little difficult to figure out best uses right off the bat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Asana to streamline project management for an organization that is growing and re-organizing it's business structure. We're also using it to implement project workflows for specific tasks related to compliance.

1) the issues with rules (aka automations) running on separate projects, and 2) suggestions for improvement were slow (2+ years) to be developed.

Keeping track of longterm projects, deadlines, and collaborating with teammates

The design is sleek, the platform is fast and it's somewhat reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really hard to find tasks that were written years ago via the search; we often find ourselves searching for hours even with the title of the task being nearly an exact match for the search.

It lacks flexibility compared to other tools like Smartsheet – not being able to set conditionals based on formulas (e.g. cascading due dates) to automate set up is a disadvantage.
The way that data is displayed (e.g. metrics for outcomes like $, %, etc.) are also too rigid because of the way the template is set up.
The dashboards again are also too narrow. It would be incredibly helpful to make data integrations easier to have a single place to display progress and outputs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Corporate planning and OKRs – the goals feature is helpful in displaying teams across the organization. The workload view is also helpful for calendar planning.
OK - Not the best for tasks that are multi-layered
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visuals and graphics the most. You can view your timelines in several different formats which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most intuitive and it is not great with multi-layered tasks. There are limitations with viewing when it comes to tasks that have several levels or dependencies.

Project Management Tool at its best
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is so focussed on a team based or collaboration approach that it makes a project management plan to be very comprehensive and goal oriented. This also helps the team member be accountable for tasks they are assigned to. The UI is really easy to use too
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had an easier learning curve. Also, when a project task needs to be assigned, it would be great if a task could be assigned to multiple people which helps keep the team (more than one person) accountable.

Helps me track projects better and collaborate better as a team for ensuring customer delight
