What do you like best about the product?
I love how visible everything is, if I set up a task my line manager and the CEO can hop straight in, tweak dates around, give updates or add other team members to assist!

There is also loads of features, from goals, campaigns and tasks it really covers all the ground in my marketing role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, a sort of semi steep learning curve but nothing a quick sit down and a few tutorials can't solve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a one man marketing band, Asana is literally my personal secretary, I take my notes from meetings, file them into tasks, upload them to asana and set priorities, dependencies and deadlines and before I know it I have a fleshed out plan for the next week or two.

Asana is the best of all worlds

  • June 24, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Asana’s multi-home feature was an absolute game changer for my work several years ago, and it still is today. More tools have added that capability by now, but its usefulness is still unmatched, given that Asana is also more user friendly, has better customization ability, provides more feature access at the lowest paid plan level (which now includes the best built-in AI functionality I’ve seen yet) than the alternatives. To me, Asana is the most logically and efficiently structured product of its kind, which makes everything better. And the pricing is reasonable! You will not find a better bang for your buck - the best functionality, for the best price.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a little more customization ability of how fields appear on tasks. I want to be able to demarcate different sections of fields, and to be able remove unused fields from individual tasks even if the fields are on the project. I would also like to be able to have different fields appear on the face of the task cards on boards by column/section. I want to be able to make a burn up chart of different custom number fields, not just tasks completed/not completed. These are all just small kinds of things that they are always updating anyway. Another small downside is how all same email domain accounts must have a seat on the plan. It doesn’t feel “worth it” to pay for a seat for those who only need to view a dashboard a few times a year, or work on one thing one time, etc, because that can be a good number of people and become cost prohibitive pretty quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The multi-home feature with separate access/permissions by task and project reduces several layers of duplication of communication and data management when collaborating across multiple teams. The amount of work this eliminates is significant, which also eliminates much opportunity for error. So it makes us both more efficient and more accurate

A Powerful and User-Friendly Tool for Team Collaboration

  • June 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana’s intuitive interface makes it easy to onboard new team members quickly. I love how customizable the project views are—whether you prefer boards, lists, or timelines, Asana adapts to your workflow seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is feature-rich, some advanced tools (like workload management or timeline views) are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for small teams or startups. Also, the notification system can get noisy if not carefully managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps streamline team communication, task delegation, and deadline tracking. It eliminates the confusion of managing work through scattered emails and spreadsheets. It allows our team to stay aligned on goals, track progress in real time, and keep all project-related discussions and files in one place, improving overall productivity and accountability.

Asana is very valuable to the operation and work flow!

What do you like best about the product?
With Asana, we able to keep track of every job entering the pipeline and what has to be done and by whom. This has greatly improved the speed of our workflow
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen anything in Asana that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When jobs into our workflow it has to entered by the order taker, viewed by the scheduler, assigned to the graphics department and then sent to production. In the past, this process would sometimes become confusing and deadlines would sometimes be missed. Asana has enabled us to keep all relevant information and files in the same place easily accessible by everyone in the flow. I am not sure what we would do if we had to go without Asana. I love being able to add tags to jobs with customized labels so everyone can see at a glance what stage the job is in.
