Asana - Great for teams who need more than trello
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use yet features advanced capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any software (jira, trello etc) you need to make sure that all the tasks and related data is kept up to date
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage our tasks better. We save time. No tasks are lost in the pipeline.

It has a lot of capabilities, and you can view tasks in different formats (list, calendar, workflow).
What do you dislike about the product?
The home view doesn't show tasks that are past their due date, I've missed a few things because of this before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of our tasks organized. The app is perfect for this. There are other apps that can do similar things, but Asana is more focused.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a task manager, Asana is perfect for you. If you need a task manager along with a file manager, or a timing app, you might have to look somewhere else.

It is a great project management software and makes it easy for teams sitting at different offices to communicate.

What do you like best about the product?
Tag other users, manage due dates, assign reviewers; it has the basic tools you need without unnecessary complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to make a custom view to see just assignments assigned to you, which I feel should be an obvious default.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of tasks and our projects often have many moving parts. We've turned all of these requirements into easy to clone templates and it helps us keep it all straight.
Mature product that could use some tweaking for better productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Asana looks great. The developers have clearly spent a ton of time polishing the overall UX. The mobile app is also good, and notifications can be customized to ensure you don't miss any tasks that are being assigned or that impact a project that affects your work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Individual project layouts can lead to complexity that creates confusion if you're looking for a particular task nested within a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a business that requires team cooperation, and Asana helps us coordinate to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Great PM software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it organizes project plans and communications in the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how the task dependencies do not automatically update the task date range.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing visibility of projects and operations to the company.
Brilliant tool that offers all the features you need for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It has a clutter-free interface and offers various useful templates. You also get a quirky animation every now and then when you complete a task. It is not much but it can lift you up a bit if you're stressed out.
What do you dislike about the product?
It displays all tasks including the ones you have already completed. You have to filter them out. Clicking the tasks also starts editing them and you have to be careful about where you click.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track tasks across projects and prepare meeting agendas and notes and keep track of progress of teammates.
Pretty good software for your average project tracking needs
What do you like best about the product?
Resource allocation and management are well done in Asana. Reporting and tracking the plan are also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found an option to synchronize tasks with Outlook calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the fulfillment of activities and tasks in this software is of great help to me.
Reallocate your Project Management team
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to coordinate across multiple teams, assign tasks, and use for our agile marketing practices. It allowed us to reassign our project managers to other in-demand marketing functions, while letting the software do the work for us in terms of keeping the team organized and on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is not super intuitive; there is a significant learning curve. Difficult to onboard someone new to the platform - it takes a long time to get them up and running. Additionally, I wish Asana had more functionality to automate regularly cadenced workflows - like resurfacing quarterly/annual campaigns we run at previously noted timeframes. If Asana had these future-facing automated workflows, it would definitely be a 10/10 for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows our Marketing team to manage our projects after we dissolved our Project Management team and reassigned them to other functions within the marketing team. Our team works out of multiple offices, so it helps a team that is not co-located work effectively together.
