The best tool for effectively Assisting in the management of projects
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Asana is the ability to interact with my team to create an integrated action plan, assign and track resources, and simply extract reports.
Asana's user-friendliness and flexibility allow me to create bespoke workflows for myself and my entire team. All of the changes made by one of my colleagues or me will be preserved and then made available to other team members. All work team members benefit from this feature, which guarantees that they are given the most realistic and efficient work schedule possible. Users can benefit from Asana's integration with many other applications when switching from one system to another.

There is nothing worth mentioning, the application is very distinctive, and the interface is impressive, through which you can easily access all the tools you need, and also give you positive energy to work. All team members were able to engage in project management, which helped avoid problems and ensure that projects were completed on time. It's a must-have for anyone who wants to run a successful project.

Asana works perfectly for me, offering excellent features and solutions to organize and prioritize our projects, through ready cards and boards where it allows us to organize our tasks in a simple and effective way, a tool that is flexible and simple adapting to our needs I like it a lot because It offers end-to-end security, speed and is broad, I like it for the benefits it brings to my team.

Asana is a perfect tool that offers a comprehensive and complete service, the features and functions are perfect for our requirements, it is a software that adapts to our needs and offers more than what we normally need, so far I have no dissatisfaction because it works for me in an extraordinary way without presenting failures or errors.

Asana helps me work productively and collaboratively from start to finish with perfect functions for prioritizing and organizing tasks, Asana brings me countless benefits when working as a team, being easy is sharing attachments, comments and tasks, increasing communication between coworkers, delegating tasks and complying with the required projects in record time, helps me to reduce errors because I can follow each part of the process, it allows me to see the performance of my team and the responsibilities of each one, in addition to having my secure information.

I wish there was a native desktop app rather than just a web app.

It's easy to use. It has multiple user interface styles.

One task can be assigned to only one user.

It can be integrated with tools like Teams, slack, etc., So it's easy to create a task from the tool you use for discussion.
Asana is a great tool for Project/Task tracking, communications and follow-ups.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy Kanban Board layout. Easy navigation between Tabular and Kanban views.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow us to share the live calendar with Outlook. Gantt charts created are only for tasks, not for sub-tasks which defeats the whole purpose of the Timeline view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am doing my project tracking for the entire IT team. I also follow my tasks through Asana, which allows me to keep things more organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to create a project plan with Gantt chart, this tool is not going to be helpful.
However, if your aim is to have overall visibility of your projects and collaborate within teams and also do cross-team communication, this tools is very flexible. Creating an excel like layout OR a kanban board is simply the matter of clicking a couple times.

What do you like best about the product?
Assigning tasks within a project is so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to track time for a task. I can tell how long a task sat undone but not how long it takes to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to track individual tasks across multiple projects. It has saved time in managing internal staff for our project managers.

- Sometimes pasting pictures does not work as seamless as with other project management tool I have been working with

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider what you need Asana for. It is not suitable for a ticketing system but good for "normal" project management. Look at alternatives as well, as there are many good project management tools out there and it has to feel right and be easily usable

The desktop application is quite heavy on my machine, could be less resource-intensive, but then again, I am using a dual-core device, so nothing much to argue.

If you want a single pane to manage your work and or company's team task assignments, then Asana is a brilliant tool to do just that. It offers thoughtful features like commenting on tasks, mentioning teammates, and asking for their help in assignments, and a pane to manage projects.

We can see within the team that who is working on which task and can also track their progress and team lead can add omments within the request

We should have a app that is smooth to use and easily accessible.

We as a team can easily track that what is the statis of the task at individual level and overall which solves our problem as a whole.

Helpful Project Management with Good Room to Grow
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been very helpful at our workplace in coordinating projects across multiple departments. From creating checklists to project ideas collection, we have found Asana to serve us in staying organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface is confusing. The layout and organization of projects are not completely intuitive. For new users, it takes a fair amount of time to bring them up to speed and fully integrate them into each project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped us stay organized, primarily when it comes to checklists and projects that span over multiple months. One of my favorite features is the ability to comment and include notes about each assigned task. This makes communicating updates efficient and effective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After working with multiple task management programs, we have found Asana to be the best for professional coordination over multiple departments. I recommend giving this software a try!
