Flexible workflows and organization options
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to tag tasks or add them to multiple projects. It's so helpful for organizing my day and collaborating with team members on various projects
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the inbox feature, its somewhat limited in how I can customize that view and prioritize which updates I am following are more important than others and therefore should show up first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better source for keep tracking of documentation and ideas with colleagues that would get lostotherwise, organization, time management
Very flexible for any type of project/process management
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility. The fact that I can use a kanban board for some projects, a simple to-do list for others, and even a full timeline/gantt chart if needed is impressive.
My second favorite part is the ease of collaboration. They clearly built Asana for teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I felt overwhelmed by the variety of options Asana offered. I still find myself occasionally using my notes app because it just feels simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used asana for my personal task management and general organization. I've also used it to organize large initiatives across multiple teams. In both use cases, it really excelled, and I rarely found myself looking for a feature that didn't already exist.
Nice organizing tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to break a long-term "to do" list into categories however works best for you. Color labels/sub tasks make it easy for us to set reminders for long term projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes overwhelming when looking at everything we have in there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing team organization has improved and we are all on the same page. It's easy to access each other's tasks and collaborate.
Good tool for management and a little more
What do you like best about the product?
If you get creative, Asana is a tool that will allow you to go beyond daily task management. Particularly with its functionalities, we use its forms to allow our clients to generate automatic requests, track work areas, and see where improvements are being implemented through metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow you to link fields, although you can reuse them in different projects and create panels of general metrics regarding this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We found it difficult to adequately measure management using only Notion. With Asana and its metric dashboards, relating variables is very easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the free-trial period to explore all the features. Most likely, a good automated implementation that helps the team stay informed will require the most expensive license, but it's probably worth it.
Great Prioritisation and Amazing Collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
1. Welcoming design and easy to use for the first time user
2. Create multiple projects/tasks and assign it to the respective holders along with the notes
3. Good support with the integrations like G-suite and other 3rd party tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Too many notifications for the single task/ticket
2. Pricing should be even more flexible

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, our product team is split into multiple divisions and we are using asana for a sync-up where we can keep track of other team's work. In terms of beneifts we are avoiding slack or other communication means as everything is commented on asana itslef
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a growing team and would like to know whether the company roadmap is driven in the right direction then you can go ahead with Asana. It's simple and easy to use.
Good flexible project management solution
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use. Asana is best for team collaboration in terms of tagging and notifying teammates and having a discussion directly on certain tasks to help provide context as both a project manager and a developer executing on the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana UI hasn't been updated in a while. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it just feels similar to a legacy product like JIRA more than a super modern UI like Monday
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves general team organization, task management, and project road mapping.
Asana Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everyone on the teams I work with can access tasks, stay updated and can view notes and feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user design can be a bit difficult at first but after a little trial and error the app is fairly easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication is a major challenge. Asana is a great tool to keep everyone looped in and focused on meeting deadlines and deliverables.
Great for project management!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout of Asana compared to other project and task management tools. It is aesthetically pleasing and, to me, more accessible to onboard other team members onto. There are many different layouts to choose from, depending on your project or task. There are many useful integrations with Google Suite and Dropbox. Over my years of project and task management, Asana is my favorite tool to stay organized
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no glaring downside to Asana. The only challenge that I have come across is onboarding other folks into the space that I may be working with. It takes time to get the hang of using it in the most optimized ways, but it is worth it once you do!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to keep my various contracted projects organized in one space. I do everything from storing meeting notes to managing my task list for each contract in a simple and optimized way!
LOTS of integration opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has integrations that connect directly with versioning systems and direct interaction between the business analysts and project managers with their developers. Developers can interact with product sprint boards and immediately provide updates via the different integration points within their workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require the team to be diligent about updating their progress. The alerts via emails become annoying and eventually get ignored. I would advise project managers to take ownership of the project boards and update it themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple concurrent projects with disparate teams is difficult to manage. This tool centralizes the operation of a PM team, and someone can track related within Asana without going into the projects themselves. Workloads can be quickly generated at the press of a button for each development resource.
Intuitive UI, easy for non-technical roles to adopt
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, has been one of the easiest solutions to adopt cross-departments
What do you dislike about the product?
Many integrations are browser extension overlays; this isn't an issue unless you are using their desktop app. Making integrations work across platforms would increase adoption and allow us to integrate more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, client visibility, cross-department work management, intake request processing, managed services, professional services, marketing engagements, etc.
